Property was ok. The washer/dryer is fairly new but takes a long time to dry. Dishwasher needs to be updated. We never figured out how to get heat to work, thermostats did not work. For a quick stay with 3 bedrooms, it works.Upstairs bathroom is best for tub use. Using shower handheld didn't work so well.
Great timeMost of the windows were cloudy and would not open, no outside chairsBut this place was cheaper than most in the areaVery quiet again we had a great time
The house is a beautiful home. Well taken care of. There is plenty of space for everyone in your group to have space as well. Quiet area close to Taos center. The home is also very well built and rooms are far enough eway there is pricacy between guests. Host was nice, available and quick to respond.
Great house for our family to gather. Plenty of space and felt very cozy. Loved the location and the view of National Forest. Taos is a beautiful place.
House was just as stated and check in/out was very easy! There is a lot of little steps in the house, very easy to get used to but just be aware if there is elderly or anyone that cannot easily go up/down stairs. This house is also at the end of the road, two dogs greeted us as we drove past them on the first drive to the house. They did not bother us after. This house also is a great spot to catch the sunrise in the morning! Location is also very close to the plaza! We would definitely stay here again!
Santa Fe style house is charming and spacious. We stayed with two college aged daughters and high school son, so having room was important. Well located, though not great for walks (main road too busy); was easy to drive into town whenever we wanted. Peaceful setting with very little road noise, just roosters and chickens from neighboring property.Bedding and linens were fine, beds were comfortable. Had most of what we needed in kitchen. House was quite clean, though needing attention in window sills and corners. Sun room was unusable because of heat and lack of furniture and cannot be used as an additional bedroom, in case you were wondering. Laundry machine worked well. Would recommend bringing your own pillows, kleenex and soap. To owners: consider adding more outside seating. Picnic table isn't comfortable and gives too many splinters. Also consider leaving cleaning products to make kitchen and bathroom tidying easier. Only complaint is that it wasn't easy to get help. We discovered a problem the first night we arrived. Messaged in right away and received an immediate response - later learned it was just AI. Followed up over subsequent days and received promises to have someone come out immediately but it never happened. We ended up dealing with the problem ourselves. Steve made a small effort to compensate, but we sat with the unpleasant issue for three days, and it take away from our vacation experience. They should have done better.

Arrived after dark. It was cold so searched for thermostats. Nothing worked. Called the property manager. He stated the boiler was broken and they had provided small space heaters. We asked for more and 3 more space heaters were provided, but it took a good 24 hours to warm the house. Got up and had to clean the coffee pot, brewed a pot, but alas there was not a single coffee cup. Lots of light bulbs were burned out with no replacements available. We would hear from the owner about heater repairman coming over, none showed. However once the temp warmed the space heaters were okay. Kitchen utensils were greasy. This was our get away time but still had to worry about cleanliness. This was unacceptable.
