The location of the house was perfect. Steps from the beach with a pool to relax by during kid nap time. Quiet neighborhood. The house itself could use some TLC. We found mold on the ceiling and in bathrooms, the front door did not lock which caused concern for safety for our family especially at night, the fire extinguisher was expired under the kitchen sink. We brought these concerns to management during our stay but no one came out to look or address the problem. I hope they can fix these issues and also a general deep clean because this house has so much potential.

The house was very nice and spacious. Found some water bugs on the floor in a couple rooms so we weren’t very pleased with that but I contacted Seaside Rentals and they resolved the issue right away. Front door was tricky to lock. Highly recommend getting a keyless entry. House could probably use a deep cleaning but good for the most part. Check in and check out were very easy. Would recommend to stay here.

We enjoyed the house but it has been neglected…..it needs a lot of maintenance and we felt like we were cheated out of the experience of a PREMIERE HOST home. Of all the years we have traveled to the OBX….this was the worst house we have experienced. Here is our list of grievances: Four of the showers we had to go buy a bleach cleanser & clean them before we could shower because of excessive mold. There were only 6 loungers around the pool area and 3 were broken. There was not a table, umbrella or additional chairs to sit on. We had to carry chairs from the other decks to use. The ceiling of the lower deck is falling off and looks atrocious. There is black mold growing out of a couple air vents inside which should be addressed. Most of the bathroom sinks stoppers were missing or broken. Some of the commodes we had problem flushing. The top deck has boards that are lifted and a couple of us tripped on them…good thing no one was hurt other than scrapes. I was very disappointed of the dirty walls and nasty hand rail on the stair way. The cleaning crews are not doing their job properly for this caliber of rental. Overall, we did have a great time and having the elevator made it a lot easier on us “old folks”. The recreation room & theater room was nice. The pool & hot tub was well kept and clean. Just because we rent at the end of the season doesn’t mean we have to be excluded from having the best as we expect it to be. Seaside Vacations was wonderful to work with!!

A Break Away in Comfort

We chose this property because of all the amenities it provided to our families. It did not disappoint. Everyone had their own bed, bath and TV. The game room and the movie theater were a bonus and enjoyed by all! The house was immaculate, modern, comfortable, and had a beautiful ocean view. All of this made relaxing during our break easy and enjoyable!

Unfortunately there were a multitude of issues with the home itself. We meticulously made a list of the issues and sent that to the management company. A few of the issues were very concerning (mold) in the home. We were able to resolve some of the issues because my husband and son are in the property management business. With my son and husband able to resolve some of the issues we were able to have an amazing time. My hope is that the management company will take heed to our list and address these issues. I can’t say that I would read from this company again though.

Beautiful home with plenty of room and the most beautiful sunrise ever. A plus watching the dolphins swim by while having morning coffee in the house. Pool was clean and beach was awesome.
