Welcome to Larch Lakehouse at The Holly Cabins!  This Waterfront house is located on the Fulton Chain of Lakes half a mile from downtown Old Forge.  It is within walking distance to View and the Enchanted Forest. It’s a great house for one or two families. This house has everything you need, including a dock where you can fish or tie up a boat and watch the sunset. There is a firepit area near the dock. The swimming area is shallow. The First Floor features the dining area, kitchen, living room with TV, a half bath, and a laundry room with washer and dryer. The bedrooms are all on the Second Floor which includes the full Bathroom. Bedroom #1 faces the lake with a small deck, a Queen bed and a TV. Bedroom #2 has two sets of Twin bunk beds. Bedroom #3 has a Queen bed and one Twin bunk bed. Stay connected with WiFi. Great location and price for your Adirondack stay in Old Forge with the convenience of being close to town and renowned attractions! Note: For larger groups (reunions, weddings and larger family and friends’ gatherings), Larch Lakehouse may be rented together with the 3 neighboring properties: The Lakehouse, Evergreen Lodge and Tamarack Cottage-all 4 properties are part of The Holly Cabins. No linens or towels are provided.

The property was in an amazing location. Lots of trees and shade. Wonderful and cute cottage. Beautiful and serene. Our family loved this cottage and all the swimming! Highly recommend staying here.

My wife’s birthday get away.

For the most part it was a very nice stay from the standpoint of location & accommodations. The access was difficult in that the parking area was elevated & a staircase had to be used to bring things in & out of the lakehouse.

Forge

Location was excellent. Property did not live up to the ten Review listed on your site. Televisions did not work. Every time we heard from the property manager there was another item or requirement that we had to do. Property could have used some updates for example the mattress in the main bedroom caused you to sink in the middle when you tried to sleep. We left a day earlier and checked into our further destination where the accomodations were better suited for us.
