Lovely home, very convenient to the town and rail station yet very peaceful and relaxing. Many simple supplies and utensils provided. Very much enjoyed our stay
Communication good with manager + host. Nice welcome +explanations. The house was lovely, very well equipped + we felt comfortable with everything we needed. A good base for the town centre and surrounding areas.
This is a tastefully modernised and well equipped town house. It is very well located, being only a 15 minute walk from the centre of Bergerac and 5 minutes from the train station (handy for Bordeaux and Sarlat). There was a boulangerie and grocery nearby with a good choice of restaurants in the town centre. Overall the property was very comfortable and a great base for a relaxing holiday. The property manager dealt with handover very efficiently.
Lovely home for 2 weeks and great support from Sebastian. Pool was well used as temperature hit 35! We did not have a car so walked everywhere, good stroll into Bergerac where there are lots of restaurants and shops. Old town beautiful and a boat trip on the Dordogne is a must. Two boulangeries close by and two supermarkets about 10 min walk (we preferred Leclerc) . Watch out for mosquitos - little devils! Steep stairs in property if mobility an issue. Short walk to railway station so easy to get around if you want. We just chilled in Bergerac for 2 weeks which was perfect.
We have just come back from a stay at this lovely house in Bergerac and I thought I would write a short review. I had been to Bergerac before – it’s a beautiful town and very easy to get to via Ryanair – and this time thought I would take my son, his wife and their daughter. I stayed in the ground floor bedroom with the en-suite and really enjoyed being able to have my morning coffee on the deck just outside. The rest of the family stayed on the top floor and we would normally get together on the deck that’s outside the kitchen and overlooks the pool and garden. It’s very quiet out there and a lovely place to have a glass of wine and some food. We didn’t actually do too much but it was great to be able to walk into Bergerac for the shops and restaurants and to go down to the Dordogne river. A great time was had by all so I’ll be telling friends about it and there’s a good chance I’ll take the family there again next year. We didn’t need to contact the host whilst we were there but he was responsive and communicative before the trip when we had questions. Jane.
