We had seven people staying for Ithaca College graduation. Overall, met our needs for the weekend, but when we arrived at the property the downstairs bathroom had recessed lights hanging down from wires and painter's tape on the walls. The floor was dirty, but the rest of the bathroom was clean. Although the owner said it was safe, we felt the light dangling in the shower left that bathroom unusable. He sent someone to fix it during the day on Saturday (we had arrived on Friday), making the bathroom usable for graduation morning which was most important to our group with seven people getting ready. Communication was prompt.

Family Reunion

Our reunion was in nearby Ithaca, but could have been held here in the large backyard. The house was obviously newly renovated. Our stay was very comfortable.

Great spot, despite issues

Overall, this was the perfect spot for our visit. We were hosting a family get-together even though we live out of state. It’s a great property for a large family, and in warmer weather the yard is wonderful for spreading out. However, the hosts apparently switched to a new housekeeping company, which didn’t deliver. All the beds were stripped and the linens were left wet in the dryer. The kitchen wasn’t properly prepared, either. The host was very responsive, and though there wasn’t anything they could do to fix it for us that night, their response was satisfactory. I would hope that a new contractor would be followed up with more thoroughly before having customers enter the property. Overall a great stay.

This was a perfect home for our extended family to share for Cornell’s graduation! Spacious, modern, clean with everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the hosts were super friendly and responsive! The house is about 15 minutes from campus which was perfect! We hope to stay here again in 3 years for our next Cornell graduation :)
