The host was a top tier communicator! The location was perfect for the events of my trip, and the area felt very safe. The unit's photographer did an amazing job of making the place look more appealing than it was. It had the necessities; the bed had decent linens and was comfortable.
Quaint little place in a great location for dining and access to public transit. The Target grocery store a few blocks away was very handy. We stayed there because it was close to our son and daughter in law in Logan Square. Access to the apartment is challenging with no handrails and lighting. There is no thermostat in the space, so temp control is not possible.
I was a vendor at a market a couple blocks away and could not have asked for a better location to stay in the area! We felt very safe and comfortable in the neighborhood and were very close to a lot of restaurants! The apartment was easy to find and easy to check into. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels. It’s hard to find a place in the city that will sleep 6 people! There were a few too many bugs in some corners and the floors and walls could used a good wipe down, but we were really only in the apartment to sleep so it was too big of a deal to us. Overall, happy with our stay and would visit again!
Our stay was great - lovely little spot in a great neighborhood, close to trains and restaurants. No issues here, host was great at communicating and made sure we were doing okay. Would absolutely stay here again.
We were looking for somewhere with more room than a hotel room, as we were staying a week. This little apartment was perfect! Walkable to several local restaurants and stores, and close to public transportation. Cute and safe neighborhood.

Disliked: Check-in, communication
Check in details were late. There is a constant sewer smell of in the apartment. Otherwise, everything else was great.
The apartment is in a good location and has all the amenities. The only caveat is the steps to get into the apartment. My parents, who were travelling, struggled a bit with the lack of handrails. It's not life-changing, but something to keep in mind. The landlord had great communication skills, and very responsive to our requests.
Great stay overall. The apartment was nice and very livable. Plenty of dishes to eat at home, but fridge was small and freezer needed to be defrosted. some measuring cups would be a nice addition. The apartment was chilly, it seems the a/c is controlled from upstairs. Location was great, easy access to public transit and very walkable. There was a bit of a delay when we arrived because the host hadn’t put our stay on her calendar. We were able to drop our bags while the cleaner worked and went for a walk and some Italian ice!
Hello,
We very much enjoyed this basement level apartment for our Chicago stay! Upon arrival, an appliance was not properly functioning. We let Cassandra know and she immediately had it repaired, on a Sunday! She was great with communication throughout. We hope to return to this location again!
