If you want a basic, no frills stay near Lake Quinault this is the place. Location to all southern parts of Olympic National Park are close. The best part was using 2 free canoes on Lake Quinault for a few hours owned by the host. No air conditioning and missing screens in several windows was a con.

Clearly a work in progress
From what I can tell, the owner recently purchased this property and put it up for rent as fast as possible, without being sure it was really ready. Underneath all the furniture was surprisingly dusty (kitchen counters, bathroom vanity, beds) and the subfloor is warped/rotting, so the floor was super uneven. The property was messy, with 5 gallon buckets all over the backyard and a random pile of stuff in the sideyard. The left hand sink in the main bathroom didn't drain the first day we were there, but fixed itself while we were out at the beach. The toilet in the laundry room didn't really flush, thankfully I only used it to try to flush toilet paper, because I couldn't get even that to go down the drain. The whole house was just kinda rough and unfinished looking. It did keep us warm and dry, so there's that. I wouldn't care so much except for the fact that I paid almost $300/night after fees & stuff, and that was with a discount. Totally not worth it- I wouldn't stay here again for that price.
