The Gardens at Lochmór farmhouse is beautiful, warm, and incredibly comfortable. The fireplace made it especially cozy on cold evenings. The kitchen was wonderful for winter meals — well equipped and ideal for cooking and lingering over coffee or wine. The bedrooms were cozy, the bathrooms felt spa-like, and the entire house was spotless and thoughtfully prepared for guests. The location is perfect for visiting nearby towns, wineries, and the Saugatuck/Douglas area, and it’s only a short drive to Lake Michigan, where we enjoyed a beautiful sunset one evening. It felt like a true getaway without feeling isolated. The peaceful setting made for a perfect off-season retreat, and the host was responsive and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We loved it so much that we’re already planning to return to see the gardens in bloom during another season. Highly recommend this property year-round.
