Our host was very friendly and easy to reach. Instructions were clear. The condo was fantastic - perfect location, well-stocked, clean and very welcoming. Exactly what we had expected.
Perfect location for a ski trip. Very convenient and essentially a ski in/out location. The place had everything we needed after a long day on the slopes.

Convenient, Cozy Condo
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our kids are already asking when we can go back. It was the perfect size for our family of four and the ski-in ski-out access plus free shuttles were an added bonus.

Great Stay!
Very nice condo with great location and fabulous hot tubs! Space laid out nicely and murphy bed in living room was very convenient and comfortable. Well equipped kitchen but no blender which would have been nice since we like to make smoothies. Great storage in unit. Would stay again.
The Iron Horse location is perfect. The ski in/out is so convenient. This unit is on the 5th floor and the ski access is right down the hall. The pool and hot tubs are great for post ski relaxing. Town is a short drive away for restaurants, etc.
This unit is cozy and comfortable for our family of 4. The kitchen was really well stocked. We loved our stay!

Great Stay
Condo was a lot of fun. Great location, with an easy access to the mountain. Plenty of room for a family of four. Two parents w/ two adult sons (19 and 16). We ate all meals in the condo, so no added expense for food. We plan to rent again on a future trip.
Wonderful location, ski to lift line, lots of little extras!
This was a great condo. You walk out the back to the ski trail to the gondola, the ski rental was across the street, and the condo had so many little extras to make our stay comfortable. They had so many extras in the kitchen including coffee and filters, basic spices and condiments. The bathroom had plenty of clean towels, shampoo and conditioner. The condo was clean and well maintained. We will definitely come back to this condo again.

We loved this condo. It's small so you have a lot of ppl, find another place. It was my husband, and two sons (6&7yo) and the condo was perfect. They have so much inside the condo so you don't need to pack plates, and utensils, and anything. Just bring your food but they still have snacks and hot chocolate and other food items. We played the board games and watched movies.
My only dislike was the patio furniture. It could use an update.
The property owners (I looked them up on fb and knew it was them) showed up right at 10a on the dot. We were trying to get out of there but they were waiting to come inside.
I would absolutely book this exact condo again!
We had an incredible stay at this one-bedroom condo in Winter Park! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The kitchen was impeccably stocked with everything we needed to prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner—whether it was whipping up pancakes in the morning or a cozy pasta dinner after a day on the slopes. The space was thoughtfully designed to accommodate a small family or two couples, with comfortable furnishings and enough room for everyone to relax. A well sized bedroom and the Murphy bed proved perfect for our family of four. The mountain views from the condo were absolutely stunning and made every morning feel magical. The convenience of ski-in/ski-out access with heated ski storage was a game-changer—it made hitting the slopes so effortless. We also loved the secure indoor parking, especially during the snowy days, and being just a short walk from the ski village was perfect for grabbing coffee or enjoying après-ski activities. What truly set this place apart was the attentive and communicative owners. They checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and responded quickly to any questions. It’s rare to find that level of care. This condo has it all—comfort, convenience, and breathtaking scenery. We can’t wait to come back!
We enjoyed 5 nights at the Iron Horse in this unit on the 5th floor. It was easy to access from the garage with some spare parking outside to unload before getting the parking pass. The location of the condo on the 5th floor was ideal as it is also the floor you leave from to access the Corridor ski trail that takes you to the base/village of WP, which is also about a 15 min walk from the unit via the streets if shopping or restaurants is your preference. The unit is in good condition with comfy beds and the needed appliances. The only areas for improvement are that the toilet seat would not stay lifted on its own (we had to jerry-rig it), there could be better cleaning under the furniture (saw dust and errant toys/equipment), and the correspondence prior to our visit regarding extra parking was unnecessarily unhelpful. For the latter, I requested info regarding parking for a 2nd car several weeks before our reservation only to be told that that info would be communicated within a few days of our arrival. Not sure why they can't tell you the info sooner??? As it turns out, a free parking lot (G lot) is about 0.5 miles from the unit that has shuttle access to the Iron Horse and the ski slopes. I think the best part of this place is the location as long as you are comfortable poling a few hundred yards in the morning to start your ski day!!! We also had epic snow fall (36 inches in 72 hours) making our ski vacay awesome!!!

Great Condo...poor maintenance crew
I was so pleased when I arrived at this lovely condo at the Iron Horse Resort. It was exactly as the pictures portray it. I was excited to write this great review as the condo we stayed at was nicely updated, but apparently this resort is on the older side. I say this as the building is dealing with leaks that need to be addressed. The primary reason for my poor review is a member of the maintenance crew (I assume trying to deal with these leaks) entered this condo in the middle of the night while myself and my kids were asleep. How someone thought they could simply enter any condo that is being rented/occupied without permission is absolutely inappropriate and illegal. I always deadbolt my door whenever staying at a hotel, but unfortunately this unit did not have one.
To make matters worse, the resort has a ski locker room to make things more convenient for guests right outside the ski on/ski off entrance. The lock was somehow broken and although an attempt was made earlier in the morning to keep the door open, it was closed and locked causing many resort guests to wait over 30-45min and prevented many from being able to make 'first tracks'.
The latter point is more of an inconvenience and frustrating. But someone coming into a unit unannounced is a concern and although the maintenance supervisor assured me it was being addressed, this is something that should not be taken lightly. I am now dealing with my 10yr old daughter who is having issues with sleeping, as she was the one sleeping in the pull-out sofa in the living room, who noticed this man enter and pretended to be asleep, hoping he would just leave which thankfully he did.

Richard, thank you for your review. We're glad to hear you enjoyed this condo and found it to be just as lovely as it is in our pictures online. We apologize for the situation that occurred with the maintenance team. Since your stay, this homeowner has received over a dozen 5-star reviews and this situation has not recurred. They go above and beyond to provide all guests with the perfect stay, and we look forward to hosting many more happy travelers in the future. Thank you again for your feedback! Best, the Evolve Team
The location was perfection. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for our family. The king sized bed was a real plus. The owners were incredible to work with and very accommodating! We stay at Iron Horse every summer and hope to rent this property again!
Nice property. Luggage carts were perfect for getting all the baby stuff upstairs. Only downsides - someone in the condo below up couldn’t smoke enough weed to satisfy them and the smoke/smell was coming in the windows we needed open to keep the place cool. Otherwise, no complaints!

Nice Location
the condo was a small, but had everything we needed. the dining table was a little difficult to get in and out of because on the exposed end of the table it had a built in shelf and the table was more bar height. the murphy bed was comfortable because most pullout mattresses are uncomfortable and this had a full size mattress. my wife and i took the bedroom and our son slept on the murphy bed. the opening to bathroom is only a few feet from the murphy bed, so when we went to the bathroom at night we usually woke him up. we were on the 5th floor, so it was an easy walk through the building to get the ski-in and ski-out trail, since the 5th floor is where you exit to catch the trail. iron horse has a heated parking garage, but we were unable to use it because we drove a subaru forester with a thule rooftop carrier. the garage has a very limited height. our contact for the condo was very responsive. when we arrived we did not have any pool towels and only one 1 and 1/3 roll of toilet paper. after texting our contact we had both towels and more than enough toilet paper for our 6 night stay. iron horse has ski storage, but not like any of the other complex that we have stayed at. they don't have ski lockers associated with the condo, but just slots to stow your ski's without locks. if you want locks you need to rent locks. we did not stow our skis and boards there, but instead store our skis and boards on the deck of the condo
Our only regret was we only got to stay 2 days!! We loved it , could not have been any better .. & I am very picky !!

Spring Break Ski Trip
Can't say enough about the staying in the Iron Horse and our time at Winter Park Ski Resort. The Iron Horse ski in ski out is so easy to access the slopes at Winter Park, put your skies on right out the door and your at base of the mountain.
The accommodations were very comfortable after a great day of skiing each day. The kitchen is the perfect size, bed was very comfortable. The fire place kept our unit very cozy.
We had great conditions on the mountain each day and we are looking forward to returning next year.
The property was a great spot for our vacation. It is very clean, comfortable, and has all you need for your stay. It was conveniently located for all of our plans. A short walk to the village and Trestle Bike Park, and an easy drive to Grand Lake and Rocky Mountain National Park. Kathy was a kind, responsive, and helpful host. From booking, to check in, and even during our stay when she made herself available to give us ideas for good hikes in the area.
