Property was amazing! Theatre room and porches were the best! Close to the casino and things like fly fishing, highly recommend!

This is a very nice property. The views are incredible and there is so much to do during down time. We enjoyed the hot tub and the media room with huge screen and karaoke. The kitchen is nicely equipped and we loved the coffee bar and waffle making station. The host provided coffee, snacks and waffle mix which was a nice touch! I would not hesitate to recommend the property

My family had the best time in this beautiful house! There was so much to do for my grandchildren! It was very clean, inviting, and most certainly spacious! Racquel was a great host! We look forward to making more memories in Ridgeview Retreat!

Stayed here for our annual golf trip. 12 adult men and the place was perfect! Racquel was great and immediately helped with an issue that was out of her control. I can't recommend this home highly enough and hope to visit again!

Amazing house with luxury experience

House was as advertised and the host added bonus touches that really put the experience over the top. Wonderful place. The road up to the house is unpaved and a little difficult to navigate if you’re not a confident driver or have an oversized vehicle, but the house was amazing.

The host answered all of our questions right away. The house was perfect for a family getaway for 17 people ranging from 8 years old to 80 years old. no one was on top of each other. There was so much to do just staying at the house. Great experiences 20 minutes away or even an hour away. The screened in porch was wonderful, especially when it was raining. We could still sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains. Everyone enjoyed the hot tub, karaoke machine, movie room, and pool table. The best house I have found for a group this size. It was nice that all five families had their own bathrooms and spaces. It is also crazy how soundproof it was. During a loud movie night and even karaoke, I could not hear them in my room. Everyone enjoyed this area and especially the house!

While the access roads are indeed dirt and gravel, most of our guests find them manageable with regular vehicles during the spring, summer, and fall. A four-wheel-drive vehicle is only required during the winter months when snow or ice may be present. We understand that road conditions can feel a bit rustic, but they’re part of the charm of being tucked away in a peaceful, more secluded mountain setting. We’ll be sure to clarify this better. Perfect hideaway for the whole family

We had an incredible stay at Ridgeview retreat in Maggie Valley! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully designed for maximum comfort and fun. The cabin itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with everyone in the family in mind. The highlight was definitely the endless entertainment options available—there was something for everyone, from board games, fully equipped game rooms for the kids, an incredible theater room and plenty of cozy spaces (including a sauna) for all to unwind. The outdoor areas, including the hot tub and fire pit, provided the perfect setting for relaxation after a day of exploring the area. Whether you’re looking for adventure or simply a peaceful retreat, this cabin has it all. It truly made our family getaway unforgettable, and we can't wait to return!

Beautiful Home

We had a wonderful stay at this home in Maggie Valley, NC! The location was perfect—peaceful and tucked away, but still just 45 minutes from Asheville and close to so many great activities like hiking, rafting, horseback riding, and tubing (most within 20 minutes).The house was spotless when we arrived and incredibly comfortable throughout. We especially loved the amenities: the hot tub had its own towels, the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the game room was a huge hit with our group. It had a pool table, shuffleboard table, foosball table, puzzles, and board games. The cozy theater room was perfect for movie nights, too.The space felt both spacious and cozy—exactly what we were hoping for—and looked just like the photos. The host went above and beyond, responding quickly to any questions and surprising us with thoughtful touches like a welcome basket, s’mores kit, and a DIY waffle bar.This home is perfect for a large family or group, and we would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Multi-Generational Vacation in the Mountains

Three generations of my family (ages 17 - 87) spent a week at Ridgeview Retreat. The house is large, spacious, well-appointed, clean, comfortable and has spectacular views of the mountains. I appreciated Racquel's attention to detail and the comprehensive binder she has created with information about the house, nearby attractions, and dining recommendations. The home is not far from town but feels serene and secluded. There are plenty of games and tvs inside the house but we mostly enjoyed the nature views from the expansive decks and screened-in porch. We even got to see a mama bear and her four cubs pass through the property!We explored nearby towns such as Cherokee, Sylva (eat at Ilda!), Bryson City, Lake Junaluska, Asheville and even Dollywood. We also enjoyed Smokey Mountain National Park and driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We did try to always return to the house before dark as the last stretch to the house is gravel, narrow, and winding, which we are not used to driving on. Highly recommend this home for a large group!
