Great home located near the beach with pool and tennis court access

Great home in Beachside Community with ocean "peeks" from master bedroom and screened porch. The bathroom and kitchen were completely remodeled including granite counter tops and new appliances in the kitchen. To add to the guest’s comfort there are ceiling fans, wireless internet, and cable television. Access to cable in living room and twin bedroom is via Xfinity cable app on Roku Tv's. So feel free to login and access your favorite streaming service on those tv's as well. You can kick back and relax on the sundeck or screened porch while grilling some food on the charcoal grill. Newly installed office in the carport area with split unit HVAC for those looking to work while on vacation. Office is supplied with additional monitor and ethernet. (Please ask the office for a key if the office is needed during your stay), It is an easy walk to the beach with no major road crossings.

This home provides access to community pool and tennis courts. The square footage of this house is 1,296. Linens included. Fireplace not for guest use. No pets. No smoking.

This home does have a locked off elevator, but it is strictly not for guest use.

Rentals are stocked with small ‘starter packs’ that include: toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, soap, dishwashing soap, and dishwasher detergent.

Family Beach Vacation

This was a great location for a family beach vacation. We had three boys that were 6 years old and younger and we had a blast. The neighborhood was very safe for little kids to walk to the beach (i.e. very little traffic) and it was a very short walk to the beach. House was very cozy and perfect for a small family. Really enjoyed the screened in porch in the back to hear the ocean and get the sea breeze at night after the kids went to bed.

Wonderful week for our family

Reviewer Comments: The house was in a wonderful location - the Beachside neighborhood is very private and quiet, and there are fewer people on the beach there as well. Very quick and easy walk to the beach or pool. House had extra chairs, umbrellas (some were broken - check them first!), 2 rolling carts (bring bungee cords for easiest use), boogie boards, tons of sand toys. Outdoor shower was great to rinse off before going inside. Harris teeter is a great grocery just around the corner. All kitchen appliances we needed were there - no issues at all. Sitting on the deck and/or screened porch was so pleasant as well. We loved IOP! The only “bad” thing was that the house wasn’t ready for check in at 4:00, so we left and drove through the island to see things, and when we got back by 4:30 we easily got the keys.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at many properties in this neighborhood and with island Realty for over 10 years. This one was my least favorite and one that I would not come back to. It was the first property we’ve stayed at with wall to wall carpet which was stained and felt dirty. There were bugs, even found some crawling through our silverware drawer. The people who stayed here before us left food on dishes and put them back in the cabinets. Even coffee cups had dried coffee in the bottom. The A/C unit could not keep up and the temp was at 78 inside most of the day. I did like the location but that was about it.

The Great Escape (from Covid)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed our stay at this rental unit. It is conveniently located to the beach by a nearby path. It's in a quiet neighborhood yet conveniently close, by walking or car, to several very good restaurants (five at a minimum). The home itself is nicely laid out with the master BR and Bath on one side of the house and the two guest BRs and guest Bath on the other side. There is a kitchen table, a counter, and a dining room table to enjoy meals at and a very nice sized living room with a good TV. There is also a good sized screened-in porch with comfortable furniture and a separate unscreened porch to use. while you can't quite see the ocean, you can hear it. We had a couple of maintenance issues on the day of our arrival but the staff at Island Realty were very responsive to our calls and fixed the issues promptly. The kitchen appliances were in good order and there were plenty of dishes and silver. The only functional negative was the carpet. It could stand to be replaced but it was serviceable. We would recommend this unit based upon location and reasonable pricing. We would also stay here again,
