Get ready to relax and recharge in this beachfront, fully remodeled 3-bedroom house on remote, peaceful Alligator Point, Florida – a hidden gem nestled along the Gulf of Mexico that boasts eight miles of pristine coastline, world-class fishing, and abundant wildlife. You’ve come to the perfect place as a traveler seeking unspoiled beaches and unforgettable experiences.
This "old Florida" 1970s build single-story bungalow offers plenty of space for a family respite or grown ups’ getaway, a soothing atmosphere to make guests feel right at home, with direct access to the dunes and beach. Walk right out into the waves! Totally remodeled with all modern conveniences and amenities, you'll love living among the exposed wooden beams, Spanish tiles, quartz countertops, curated artwork, comfy couches and more. Spend endless days on the large outdoor deck, in a rocking chair, watching dolphins or sea birds, and witnessing Florida's most beautiful sunset views.
With 1 king, 1 queen, and 2 full bunked beds, there's plenty of space for everyone to unwind and recharge. There are three dens - two facing the beach. The main living room faces the water. You can watch dolphins from our enormous, uber comfy sectional sofa! Behind the sectional is an oversized dinner table also facing the beach and it seats 6-8. The kitchen has bar stools and another small 4-person table for breakfast, arts & crafts, or puzzles. There is also a dedicated desk space at the front of the house for any "work from home" enthusiasts. Screaming fast internet and wifi boosters throughout the house.
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, cooktop, pots & pans, toaster, coffee maker, air fryer, refrigerator, dishes/silverware/cups, and even kids' dishes. You will LOVE cooking up fresh seafood from one of our favorite vendors (check out Mineral Springs Seafood!) and serving it up family-style in our oversized dining area. Pack your coolers, fish on the beach, cook, carry on and ENJOY the slower pace at Alligator Point!
Two newly remodeled bathrooms - one with a tub for easy kids’ baths! A third shower outdoors and a rinse-off station for beach days. You and your guests will truly love how simple it is to visit the beach! Start your morning searching for seashells and end your day walking the coast to see our unique, satsuma-orange colored sunsets.
Fast WiFi (with boosters throughout the house!), indoor washer/dryer, AC, ceiling fans and Smart TVs in every bedroom, with direct beach access. We provide all towels and a starter-pack of toilet paper and paper towels. Please bring your own toiletries and food. If you plan on fishing please bring separate bait containers. We even have an extra freezer outside for your fresh catch!
Whether you're lounging in the cozy indoors or exploring the beautiful surrounding areas, we hope you enjoy our secret hideaway! Alligator Point is a best kept secret of Florida's "Forgotten Coast!" Embrace the slower pace of life here!
By the way -- NO there are not alligators here (that we know of!?). The Point got it's name from the shape of the peninsula and how its lush pine tree landscape resembles that of an Alligator's open mouth from the coast.

Unauthorized guests or pets will result in immediate removal without refund. Absolutely no drugs or smoking on the premises. There are exterior cameras on the property. Thank you!

The property was exceptionally clean and very well decorated. The photos don’t do it justice! We had great communication with the owner. It’s a beautiful and private property. We will definitely rent it again if it’s available!
Beautiful house, had everything we needed and the location could not have been better! A quick walk out the back and we were able to watch sunrises and sunsets on a quiet and beautiful beach. We saw dolphins and bird everyday! Will definitely stay again!

Thank you Kathy!! So glad you and the family enjoyed! It was our pleasure hosting such wonderful guests. We hope you come back soon!! ☺️
Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The property was even more beautiful than the photos… it was spacious, spotless, and perfectly maintained. The beachfront location was stunning, and we felt completely safe and relaxed the entire time. The host was incredibly communicative, answering all our questions quickly and making everything so easy. Everyone in the area was so friendly and welcoming. Only thing we found ourselves needing (on the last day!) was a clothing iron or steamer. We can’t wait to come back again — highly recommend this place!

Thank you for the wonderful review!! So glad you enjoyed your stay.
We loved our stay in this beach house. Being a single level, with no stairs to get in, or down to the beach, was super convenient, especially with small kids. The kitchen was so nice, we only went out to a restaurant a couple times during our stay, which gave us more time on the beach. We enjoyed visiting the Gulf aquarium, fishing with Panacea Outfitters, and a day trip to Wakulla Springs. But just hanging out on the private beach was the highlight.

So glad you enjoyed your stay!! Thank you for taking such great care of the house. We welcome you and your family back any time!!
My Aunt and I had a wonderful stay in this recently updated house at Alligator Point. First of all, the location is on a pristine stretch of beach that is just beautiful. We saw dolphins, birds and beautiful sunsets every day. The house is very well appointed with a nice kitchen and sitting areas with a very comfortable couch to sit and look out the huge windows that give a great view of the beach. We would go back and stay here again without hesitation and look forward to making another trip to one of my favorite spots.

Thank you Laura!! We loved hosting you and welcome you back anytime!! Thank you for being a terrific house guest.
This place is a must stay for a nice beach vacation! Our family enjoyed the house very much and the view just wanted us to unpack quickly to get our vacation started ASAP. The openness of the house made you feel like you weren’t on top of each other and the sand is so soft and white. I really don’t have anything negative to say about the house or view. Everything described is exactly what you would expect when you check in. I will say there are bears and lots of wildlife. I highly recommend not leave any food outside and keep the bear proof trash cans closed. Also, go the speed limit, cops are everywhere and the speed is 30mph on the point. I would love to stay here again and create more fun memories with our family. 5 stars!

We enjoyed having you! Come back anytime. Thank you for highlighting all the nature and peace and quiet of Alligator Point!
No complaints for this beautifully decorated, up to date home! The home was very clean upon arrival and is well taken care of. The kitchen was stocked well with very NICE accessories! The location is amazing! We saw dolphins everyday! My kiddos/husband fishing were catching sting rays, cat fish, gar, and sharks all week. One of my kiddos also found a living sand dollar! Ghost crab hunting at night was also very plentiful for the kids! Communication with the host is great and we would definitely stay again!

World traveled but my happy place is at the beach! From Georgia but spend as much time as I can in Florida with family.
Why they chose this property
Alligator Point (AGP) is a well kept secret of Florida’s Forgotten Coast. The people are friendly, the fishing and crabbing is plentiful, and the sugar sand sunset walks are impeccable. Different from other areas of the Gulf, AGP is full of nature preserves, brackish water and surrounding bays, rivers, and springs. It’s a special place with a wildness to its beauty. My favorite thing to do at AGP is watch the pelicans, dolphins, and my kids splashing in the water.
What makes this property unique
My husband and I loved the exposed beams and hidden potential of this house. After much blood, sweat, and tears to bring this beauty to life— we are so happy to share our home with others. Enjoy the beach and spend time checking out here at Satsuma Sunset.
