Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and retreat to this mountain vacation, cabin near Boone! The newly remodeled cabin features a screened porch, hot tub, fire pit, gazebo and a sparkling half-mile of creek access, all on 122 serene acres of forested beauty!
Spend your days driving Blue Ridge Parkway, exploring the charm of Wilkesboro or Boone, hiking trails, or simply relaxing at your mountain retreat. We just went direct with Airbnb,. The prior 2 years we attained a 4.89 rating.

As you turn onto our road, Fall Creek Road, you are immediately thrown into a scenic, beautiful forest, following along the creek for two miles. It's only 7 minutes off the highway to the cabin.

Getting around is simple and scenic. You will primarily head back to Highway 421 and head either north or south. We will send you ideas for places to visit and activities you might enjoy.

Our family had an amazing stay at Shady Creek!! Cabin was well stocked with everything you need. We loved the privacy and space for our daughter and dog to run around. Beautiful escape to the woods

My family and I rented this cabin for a long weekend and it was the perfect getaway. The cabin feels secluded and is set back from the road so our child and dog could play in the creek without worry. There are acres of trails to explore and the sounds of nature were so peaceful. Trips into Boone were easy and we had a great time. Would absolutely rent again.

This was our second year staying at Shady Creek and we were not disappointed! We had another relaxing and peaceful visit to the cabin. Our daughter and dog loved playing in the creek and exploring the property. Plus the new gazebo is a wonderful addition! We enjoyed sitting by the fire pit and listening to the creek.

This place is great. We loved the new gazebo by the stream. We played uno the first night with the fire on. Tons of hiking choices. We even made a rope swing in the big tree. We recommend and we will be back.

Peace and Quiet!

Probably one of the top 3 places I’ve rented! If you are looking for peace and quiet and privacy to just chill, then this is the place for you! No neighbors in sight, barely any traffic noise ever, place was great to get away from the hustle bustle. House is well equipped and kids loved the creek and hot tub!

Perfect secluded getaway

We loved our stay! Driving across the creek to the secluded cabin was just beautiful and so unique! The owners had thoughtful little snacks and cold bottles of water in the fridge waiting for us. We used the hot tub, made campfires, and played some for hole. The draw is definitely the outdoors with the babbling creek and exploring the outdoors. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful and Relaxing

We really enjoyed our stay here. The creek is so therapeutic. The property is well kept and maintained. There was so much space for my son and I to explore. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed to make the stay enjoyable. Our dog could run and play in peace. We really loved relaxing in the hot tub. I would return to this property in a heartbeat and would recommend it to others.

New Year’s Eve Getaway

We had a fantastic time at this cabin! The cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed for a long weekend getaway. Although, there was an issue with the hot tub when we arrived, the owner and team was very responsive and got it fixed on the last night of our stay, so our kids could enjoy! If you enjoy the outdoors, walking around a lovely garden, near to a lovely creek, sitting on the patio by the fire pit watching the stars then this place will take some beating. The property itself was also lovely, not huge but cost, very nicely finished and certainly very comfortable for us (2 adults and a small spaniel, who didn’t want to leave). We had a couple of issues, but they were dealt with without fuss. We shall definitely be back, simply a beautiful place.
