About the host
Hosted by Joy Bertinuson
As an artist and educator, I am always learning new things. I worked in the food industry all through high school and college. From washing dishes, to bartending, and waiting tables. I feel this experience has prepared me for providing hospitable service to others. I generally like to be helpful, whether in the classroom with students, or to friends, family, or guests
Why they chose this property
Colonial Heights is a diverse neighborhood that consists of families, younger adults, and elders who have lived here for decades. I enjoy the walkable tree-lined streets, friendly neighbors, and that it's a close drive to everything,
What makes this property unique
It is decorated to fit my style with rich colors, patterns, and original local artworks. Everything is new, and it is very clean, with lots of light. Also, it has all the perks that I look for when traveling for work, or fun. This includes the in-unit washer and dryer, and dishwasher, as well as the designated parking on the property. Also, my fiance and I live just minutes away if you ever need anything.
