Pretty much as expected and a beautiful location and property. Very well maintained pools and amenities. I think the fact that there is no AC should be highlighted more here. It took reading through reviews to figure that out...but this in no way affected our stay. We went to Kauai to enjoy the weather and nature. Room was super comfortable in July with the windows cracked at night. Woke up to roosters and birds chirping which was a great experience. The rooms are panoramic which provides a unique emersive experience. We lucked out and had a pool right outside of the room too. We had ample space for 5 of us. Definitely an older property that could use a bit of internal renovation. I wouldn't change anything about the exterior. Everything worked for us though as far as appliances, washer, etc. A bit of an ant issue with food left out too. I believe sugar ants? If we put stuff away it wasn't an issue. We would come back.
