Beautiful home in a great location

The home was perfectly laid out and tastefully decorated with all of the amenities one would expect in their own home. Very comfortable inside and out with a great park a short walk away (great for kids). Located close to the beach and great restaurants. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others looking for a great place to stay.

Home away from home!

We had a wonderful time in this lovely and spacious home. It was ideal for 5 adults and 3 toddlers. Well appointed, park nearby, our grandsons loved to walk and see the train, enjoyed the patio for evening meals. It was clean and Cathy was very responsive and accommodating. We’d love to stay here again.

Beautiful home, spacious yet cozy

Wonderful family reunion! The park nearby was perfect for our 2 year old granddaughter. The restaurants in the neighborhood were great but we had even more fun making meals at the house in the large kitchen and outside grill! Would definitely consider returning for another visit!

Gorgeous House!

Our favorite VRBO rental so far! Cathy was an amazing host and was always very helpful. The kitchen was incredible and the house was stocked with everything you could possibly need. We spent a lot of time relaxing in the backyard. The house was very clean and tidy. Definitely want to stay here again and would highly recommend to others.

More than you could ask for.

Encinitas & the weather was great but this house made our stay fabulous. It had everything you could possible need for cooking or for the beach or the back patio. It was a large newer home with room for all!! I would highly recommend it!

Beautiful beach home

We had the best time last summer staying in this beautiful home. 5 adults and 4 young children. Cathy was very accommodating, called me the evening we arrived to make sure we were comfortable. What we loved about this house was the back yard where we had dinner every night. The beach toys, chairs and towels were awesome! We would not hesitate to rent this home again.

Awesome Beach House

Loved this home, This home was perfect. Plenty of room for all 10 of us. Wonderful outdoor spaces to enjoy the beautiful Calif. weather. The home was well stocked with everything that you would need, it had everything you would need for the beach. The kitchen was awesome. Our extended family of ten people of all ages had an amazing time at this beautiful, well-appointed home. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the beautiful spacious backyard and garden for relaxing, meals and good conversation. The beach and outdoor gear available for our usage made our daily outings to the beaches a breeze. Proximity of this home to local beaches and downtown Encinitas were a huge plus. The owner was extremely gracious and helpful. More than we could have asked for! We can't wait to come back.

Comfortable Home

My family and I had the pleasure of being the first to stay at this rental. The owner was great to work with and was eager to make sure our experience was everything we expected. The kitchen and baths were well stocked with supplies. Beach chairs and towels were plentiful as were coolers. I will say while one could walk to the beach it is a bit of a hike, over train tracks and a busy street. We found it easier with our toddler grand daughter and all of our equipment to drive. While there is free parking for the beach we were never lucky enough to find a spot so we paid the $15 bucks to park in the paid parking area.

Stunning, spotless, cheery and comfy home!

Upon arrival, Cathy greeted us and showed us all around this beautiful home. It was absolutely perfect for us and our extended family. Our granddaughters loved going to the little park at the end of the street. Our daughter went to the yoga studio just on the other side of the train tracks, and guess what? There was a yoga mat in the garage for her to use! We made use of the beach chairs, towels and sand toys, also in the garage. Sitting in the backyard in the morning, drinking coffee and listening to the birds sing was quite enjoyable! The plastic plates and cups also in the cabinet were perfect for our granddaughters' use. Cathi has all the details and amenities covered in this beautiful home. My family thoroughly enjoyed our "all too short" stay here. Thank you, Cathi!

San Diego Heaven

This property is wonderful. Cathy has done an amazing job of making this lovely home so welcoming. It has everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, the beds are soooo comfortable, plenty of seating, the sofa is so cozy, and the outdoor space is so relaxing. If you go to the beach everything you could want or need is there for you. We have stayed at many places that say they have beach supplies, but we have never seen anything like this! Moonlight Beach, with free parking is about a five minute drive and it is wonderful for families. Great showers, restrooms, and concessions. There is a great park right in this cute neighborhood with something for every age. Bikes in the garage for your use, complete with helmets! There are special touches everywhere. Fancy soap and lotion at every sink, nice linens and sheets, games, coffee and tea in the kitchen, great appliances, and dryers, curlers, curling irons in all the bathrooms. All linens are plentiful. You feel like a special guest and Cathy wants to make sure you have everything you need to feel at home. We have never enjoyed staying at a VRBO so much. We will definitely go back!!! The only bad part of this vacation was having to go back to Phoenix and 115 degrees! San Diego weather is truly heaven and this house is the place to stay to enjoy it.

Amazing and spacious house

We had an amazing time staying at this beautiful home in Encinitas. The location was perfect — just minutes from the beach, great coffee shops, and local restaurants. The house itself was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.We especially loved the outdoor space — perfect for morning coffee or relaxing in the evenings. Leucadia Family Vacation

Beautiful and spacious home was perfect for a week's vacation with our daughter's family, including 5 and 8.5 year-old grandsons. Located down the street from a neighborhood park and a short drive from Moonlight Beach. Backyard gazebo was great setting for outdoor dining and board games. Easy access to San Diego area attractions.

Lovely family weekend getaway

My husband and I just became newly weds and wanted to celebrate the union of our two families with a nice weekend getaway with our parents and siblings. This house was perfectly clean, cozy, and wonderful! There were 10 of us and everyone felt very comfortable and well taken care of. The house had everything we needed and more, both the front and back yards were like little safe havens with lush plants, hanging lights, a fire pit, and plenty of places for us to sit and dine together, and the ping pong table in the garage was a fun touch. The host, Cathy, was responsive and helpful. Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay!

Great location, very comfortable

First point is that Cathy is a wonderful host. She made sure we were settled in and had information about places to shop for essentials, restaurants for any kind of meal and spots to go out and enjoy Encinitas and Leucadia. The home was super tidy, very comfortable and had everything we would need. Cathy also had bikes, surf boards, boogie boards and beach towels that could be used to make a stay even better. Definitely two thumbs up for the host and the house.

Hospitality at Its Finest

We had a wonderful time, relaxing in the beautifully landscaped yard and cooking together in the gourmet kitchen! Perfect location, with lots of recommendations for nearby restaurants. Our college girlfriend reunion was enhanced by staying here. Would totally return to this gorgeous home.

Grandma's birthday

We had a family vacation here with ages 70 down to 6 weeks old. This house was beyond our expectations. It is equipped with everything we could have possibly needed. The five bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, accommodated each family perfectly. The neighborhood was quiet with a great little park down the block. We would all highly recommend staying here!! This is a beautiful home in an unbeatable location, just minutes from everything San Diego has to offer. I originally purchased it as a rental property because of its peaceful setting—tucked away in a rare double cul-de-sac, perfect for kids to safely play and ride bikes. The quiet neighborhood is a hidden gem, and being so close to the beach makes it even more special. It's not easy to find a location like this in the area!
