We attended my son’s wedding and needed space for out of town relatives to stay and enough bathrooms for 7 people to get ready for the wedding. This property met those needs. It was also very close to my son’s apartment. The host was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We did find damp bedding in the dryer which we attended to and the WiFi wasn’t working but we resolved that issue quickly with the hosts help. The trash bins outside had not been collected but we made room for our trash as best we could. Overall this was a good place to stay that met our needs. Thank you for the hospitality.
When we arrived in St. Louis, there was a heat advisory that was going to last a few days. The temperature in the house was 92 degrees when we walked in around 6 pm. We turned on the A/C and left the house as it was unbearable. We didn't expect that the AC would be off after driving for 8 hours. The bedrooms, beds, and bathrooms were perfect for the 9 people who stayed there. The house overall was not clean though. The beds and bathrooms seemed clean, but the walls, floors, and floorboards were pretty dirty. There was also an ant problem in a windowsill in a bedroom. We sprayed cleaner on them and they seemed to die, but waking up in the morning to a mound of ants was unexpected! The owner and the manager reached out when I sent a photo of the ants. Nothing was done during our stay to clean up the dead ants. We will likely never return to STL again, but I would recommend staying at this home if you need a lot of beds and bathrooms. Hopefully the cleanliness improves and they turn on the AC for incoming guests.

Thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry the house didn't meet your expectations. I don't know why the AC wasn't on when you arrived but it must be a fluke because it's never happened before. Since you stayed, the house has been treated professionally for insects to make sure there won't be any ants going forward. We are also reviewing cleaning protocols with the cleaning crew to make sure the house is always spotless in the future. We aim for all our guests to have a 5 star experience and will continue to work towards that.
Great location close to free zoo, Forest park etc.Plus no traffic dead end road and park walking distance for the kids. Grocery stores and restaurants very close. Easy living!
We had such a fun time, for some it was there first experience in a VRBO, and first time in St. Louis. Great location and good size house. Everyone was comfortable.
This is a very nice house to stay in if you have several people especially kids that you can have go downstairs. Location is close to zoo and other St Louis attractions.
House was clean. Host was accommodating and communitive. Items in house were a bit dated and mismatched, but would still stay here again if back in the area.

Thanks for your kind review. We've done a lot to update and improve the house and will keep working on it. You were great guests and we'd love to host you again.
The home has a lot going for it. The layout is spacious and well-suited for families, plenty of room to spread out and relax. Its location is a major plus—conveniently situated in town with easy access to local amenities, dining, and activities. That said, the property could benefit from some updates. A few areas show signs of wear, and overall cleanliness could improve the overall experience.
Great stay! I have MS and I would not recommend for folks with accessibility needs, as there are stairs and it is on a hill, but we made due and had a good time. Hosts were very attentive and we had everything we needed for 8 people, with room to spare after we had 2 family members cancel at the last minute. Cute, safe neighborhood with lots of options for things to do and great restaurant options. Within short driving distance from downtown St Louis, the zoo, and many other attractions. I’d stay again if not for the stairs and hilly property. Thanks again!

Fine time.
The price is good. Space is large. There was a dog smell, some dust, and a dirty bathroom.

Thanks for your feedback. As we explained before you checked in, the bathroom was repainted a few days before you arrived, and that's why there might have been some paint smell that had not completely dissipated yet (no dog had been in the house in recent memory). The cleaners assured me that they cleaned thoroughly after the bathroom was painted, although I cannot rule out that they missed something. Most guests praise the cleanliness of the house. We will renew our effort to give each and every guest a 5-star experience. Best wishes to you and your family.
We had 8 adults and 1 16 month old and this had plenty of space for everyone to sleep and get ready for a family wedding. The baby had space to run around and burn energy. The host was kind enough to let us check in early for a nap after driving all night. The crib and highchair made it so much nicer to not have to haul all the baby equipment with on the car ride. It was a very quiet area on a dead end street with no traffic. We enjoyed the natural beauty of the plants along with the birds singing and a friendly hedgehog in the backyard. We had some say the beds were a bit firm and we could not find a vacuum to clean up crumbs but used a broom we found. It was very easy to locate and was close to getting into downtown where most of our activities were happening. Host responded quickly to all questions. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.
The location was ideal, its located in a quiet family oriented neighborhood within a mile from a local shopping center that has just about everything you need from a target to a Costco. The house is plenty larger, 1 bedroom is on the 1st floor the other 3 are in the lower level/basement, Bedroom upstairs was very clean. The house is starting to show wear with some of the walls being scuffed with painting and cleaning needed mainly in the lower level and the entry way.Home has a washer and dryer and is equipped with just about anything you would need for a multi-day stay.

.We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and everything inside was in perfect working order. Our only suggestion would be touching up the outside landscaping and keeping the driveway area a bit more trimmed. Thank you for a great stay!
