A few summer weeks left! Relaxing, spacious and pristine home w/private pool

Built for our own family, we "share" our home for just a handful of weeks each year. We planned it to be peaceful and relaxing...when we walk through the front door, we exhale...and we hope you will, too!

Our comfortable Greenwood Forest home, complete with a private pool and large patio, provides privacy and space while convenient to all the amenities that make Sea Pines such a special place.

The clean, well-maintained, and spacious house is a favorite of extended families (grandparents, adult children and their children!), friends vacationing together, golfing groups, and "girls" getaways. Many of our guests are now "regulars" who return every year or two.

Our beautiful, low country beach home, a Mark Brummer design, was built so that the main area is open and inclusive. The great room consists of the kitchen, dining and bar areas, and family room, with sliding glass doors opening to the Carolina room. The house is decorated in soothing coastal colors.

Our fully outfitted kitchen ensures that you may happily cook and eat "at home", and there's plenty of room to spread out--both indoors and outside among the palms and pines! Complete with stainless appliances and understated white glazed maple cabinetry, the kitchen even includes fun touches like a waffle maker and popcorn popper.

The dining area includes a long window seat overlooking the deck and pool. Guests also enjoy the bar area with a wine cooler and sink, and an assortment of glasses to enjoy your favorite beverages.

The casual and comfortable great room is complete with a large flatscreen TV over the fireplace. Sliding doors lead out to the deck and pool, where you may enjoy a meal, keep an eye on the kids in the pool, or just relax and enjoy the sounds and scents of nature at its best.

A set of leaded glass sliders leads from the family room into the Carolina room, nicknamed 'the treehouse' because of its vaulted ceiling and location among the sea pines. This room is the perfect backdrop for morning coffee, and has a quiet corner to get lost in a good book (as well as a desk if you simply must get some work done!)

The five bedrooms are private and well-separated, and every bedroom has a flatscreen TV and its own bathroom! The first floor includes two bedrooms--a tranquil master with a king custom-made iron canopy bed and antique birdseye maple chest, and the 'Island Room' with a queen bed and a trundle bed, and a fun tropical feeling. This room has a lovely balcony overlooking the entrance to the property. Each first floor bathroom has a beautiful walk-in tiled shower.

Up the front stairs is 'the penthouse,' where you will find two queen bedrooms placed off an open loft area. Each bedroom has a private bathroom with tiled bathtub/shower combination, as well as a deck overlooking the pool and trees. The loft area has a desk with a wireless printer.

Off a front hallway are a laundry room and a second set of stairs, which leads to a private fifth bedroom. This "beach retreat" includes a queen bed, vaulted ceiling, private bathroom with tiled tub/shower, and a deck overlooking the pool.

The pool area has a large patio perfect for lounging. The raised deck overlooking the pool includes a comfortable seating area as well as table, chairs and umbrella for outside dining.

Please note: The pool is closed October-April. We do not offer pool heat.

Our community of Greenwood Forest also has its own pool, playground, and tennis courts. A guest pass will be provided.

There is a free beach shuttle that runs all day, continuously, leaving from and returning to Lot Eight. It will drop you directly at the entrance to the Sea Pines Beach Club.

Timely Information: Our home is regularly and professionally cleaned. Guests are expected to follow whatever health and safety regulations and guidelines may be in place at the time of their stay.

*From May through the end of August, rentals are Saturday-Saturday only.

*Ours is a family-oriented home in a quiet neighborhood. Parties are prohibited.

*We encourage groups of up to eight people; with an absolute maximum capacity of ten people, including children. The beds are as listed; there are no sleeper sofas. Please do not try to circumvent this guideline, as we follow established local laws and try to be considerate of our valued neighbors.

*Our property accommodates THREE CARS in the driveway. In adherence to Sea Pines regulations, this is the maximum number of cars you may bring to our home. This policy is monitored and enforced. Street parking is prohibited. U-Hauls, trailers and RVs are prohibited in Sea Pines.

*Our property is strictly NON-SMOKING.

*Sorry, we DO NOT ACCEPT PETS.

*Our home does not offer a grill, as this is prohibited by many insurance carriers because Sea Pines is a maritime forest.

We love our neighborhood and Sea Pines community! We've found that the above guidelines help us to respect our community and keep our home pristine for our guests and our family; as such, we don't make exceptions. Thank you for understanding.
