Metro stop 850 meters away. Railway station with trains from/to the airport 1 km from home. A bright and spacious apartment, 60 square meters, 2 bedrooms, center of Rome, in a very typical Roman neighborhood (Testaccio). Completely renewed and furnished in late 2015. Situated on the second floor of a quiet residential building with an internal courtyard. Kitchen fully equipped (dishwasher, cooker & electric oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, kettle, toaster, moka & American coffee machines, dishwasher). All rooms have: windows, wooden floors, air conditioning , heating, WiFi & ADSL high speed. At your disposal and included in the price: washer, dishwasher, bed linens, bed and bathroom towels, iron and ironing board, detergents, soaps and shampoo. At home you find maps and guides of Rome, and a multilingual welcome book that contains information on how to get around with public transport, a list of recommended restaurants, services in the area, emergency numbers as well as our contact numbers. Safe home: legally licensed and authorized by the Municipality of Rome, fully insured. All necessary steps have been taken to ensure safety and cleanliness. Kids are welcome, for them you find: a cot, a stroller (pushchair), a meal heater, books with fairytales and lots of toys! We live 5 minutes away and are always at your complete disposal for anything you may need during your stay with us. 300 meters away is a guarded garage open 24 hours a day.

Lovely apartment

Great stay!

Great stay in a city that definitely needs more than two days of sightseeing. We had a great time in Paola's appartment. It was calm and cozy and was close to the main sightseeing spots. Tram and buses within 2 minutes walking. Great restaurants and a small supermarket just around the corner. Paola was a great host! We will be back! :-)

Great location for easy stay in Rome

Quiet, comfortable apartment that is clean and well-equipped with everything even umbrellas - which came in quite handy one day. Paola, the hostess, was always very helpful and prompt in all our communications both before and during our stay. Testaccio is a cool foody neighbourhood within walking distance of many sites and near all public transit as well. Highly recommend both the apartment and the neighbourhood. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice 2 bedroom. Room for 4 in family. Well organized and very nice host. Good neighborhood, about 30 min walk to center of Rome. On bus and street tram line. Easy acess to everything.

Local gem!

If your looking for a place away from tourist areas but among the locals, this is the place! We walked to all the sights we wanted to see. The apartment was wonderfully equipped with all you need. Paola could not have been a better hostess. She was always available via the what’s app with ANY questions. Would definitely stay here again. The local neighborhood and restaurants were a huge bonus!!!

If you’re staying in Rome, this is a must! Paola is simply the best and the location can’t be beat!

We had an amazing time on our honeymoon and loved everything about this location. Paola was very helpful and flexible with our changing schedule and made our stay simply perfect! Testaccio is a great neighborhood to stay in that’s close to everything in Rome, but still out of the hustle and bustle. Some of the restaurants within short walking distance were truly phenomenal as well! Thank you Paola for everything! If we are back in Rome we will certainly let you know!

Outstanding Rome apartment!

This is an outstanding apartment in a great central location in Rome. The apartment was immaculate and all amenities were in good working order. Paola is a great hostess, providing good information for travel in the area and restaurant recommendations. The Testaccio neighborhood is very charming and everything we needed was conveniently located. It was a very pleasant walk to the Colosseum, the Pantheon and other attractions. Very convenient location to access public transportation as well. We would definitely like to return someday and stay in Paola's apartment to see more of Rome!

Outstanding apartment in a great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Paola's beautiful Testaccio apartment. The apartment was very clean and spacious. It had all the amenities we would ever need during our stay. Paola provided excellent instructions on how to find the place and how to find our way around Rome. The Testaccio neighborhood was very charming with good places nearby for dinner and convenient stores for any supplies that we needed. I wish our stay had been longer- this is an excellent location for exploring Rome; we walked to the Colosseum and Pantheon and the nearby Metro station and bus stops were very convenient. Overall, this was a completely enjoyable stay and we would definitely like to return in the future!

Best apartment and best Host

I have stayed at many places before but this one was special and the Paola was absolutely amazing, haven’t met her though as she was on holiday but she has arranged everything for us and even from her holiday she offered for all sort of help like airport pickup and drop off... who does that? Everything was well arranged and all the required stuff was available in the apartment. Can’t ask more. If I ever go back to Rome will love to stay at the same house. Thanks Paola

We'll come back as soon as possible!

After a welcoming arrival, we realized quickly that we had so much luck with our decision to rent this apartment. Being located in one of the most attractive parts of Rome, the very interesting district Testaccio, the apartment enables you to empathize with the native neighbourhood. We were able to reach everything very easy, including a nice bakery, a supermarket and a lot of good restaurants, at once, and we were able to reach every highlight of the city by walking. Combined with you Paola, being so friendly and helpful, and this beautiful and interesting city, the trip beame a wonderful experience and we got a lot of unique impressions. Thank you for everything!

your HOME in ROME

“BODHOUSE” IS A REAL HOME IN ROME! The house is very bright, located on the 3rd floor with elevator, in a very quiet street in the heart of Testaccio, a truly Roman neighborhood in Rome's historic centre. You can literally reach Trastevere, Imperial Forum, Colosseum, Pantheon, St. Angel Castle and many other tourist sites by foot, just walking along Tevere River! The apartment has been recently renovated (October 2013) and has all the necessary amenities (internet included).The house is big (2 bedrooms), bright and confortable: the owners put a great attention in every detail especially about furniture and spaces. In the same neighborhood, you can find many restaurants where you can taste the typical Roman cuisine and a very nice daily market. As I said above, the location is also very good because it is really close to the tube stop (Pyramid) and well linked to different parts of the city by bus (via Marmorata). Very special thanks to Paola and Massimo, the two owners, for being so nice and hospitable. I highly recommend Bodhouse!

sehr gute Lage in angenehmer Umgebung im Viertel Testaccio

Eine angenehme Stadtwohnung mit sehr hilfreichen und freundlichen Vermietern, sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was benötigt wird. Die Lage würden wir in Deutschland mit Prenzlauer Berg in Berlin vergleichen, also ein interessantes, nettes Wohnviertel mit Supermarkt, Gelateria und Bäcker um die Ecke. Man kommt zügig zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten.

Beautiful apartment

The apartment was beautiful. It is equipped with everything you can think of. With a busy day sightseeing, it was nice to come back to the warmth and cozy apartment. It was a short walk to some of the sights. The metro was just down the street. The owner Paola , was exceptionally helpful. She answered all my questions in a prompt manner. She helped set up a cooking class for myself and husband. She was on top of everything and checked in to make sure everything was ok. I can not express enough how much we appreciated everything she had done. Thank you Paola!

Splendid. And Paola Marotta was exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The apartment is spacious, quiet, comfortable, clean, located very close to tram, bus and metro stops, within walking distance of the great archaeological sites of the Baths of Caracalla, the Colosseum, the Circus Maximus, the Palatine and the Roman Forum, just across the River from the dining district of Trastevere and a convenient bus ride from the Vatican and the Castle San Angelo. In short, it's a gem and at a very attractive price.
