Great apartment in Trastevere! Fantastic location near a small market, amazing restaurants, and easy walk to the Colosseum. Vatican and Termini are farther but simple with tram, bus, or taxi right around the corner. The host was welcoming and gave us great local tips. Apartment was well stocked and very comfortable—highly recommend!

The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. It was also very close to everything and we were able to walk everywhere. Additionally there are so many great restaurants near by. Guilio was extremely helpful and gave us so much information from the start. I would recommend to anyone.

Adorable apartment in fun neighborhood!!

We loved staying in Trastevere! Great location surrounded by so many delicious and affordable restaurants. The apartment was beautifully furnished and full of charming character. Giulio was a great host and was very responsive and accessible. Would definitely recommend staying here!

My family and I had an absolutely amazing stay here. From the very beginning, Giulio, the owner, greeted us personally and went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The apartment was spotless, beautifully maintained, and fully stocked with everything we could possibly need from kitchen essentials to thoughtful touches that made our stay extra comfortable. It has that timeless Roman charm combined with modern convenience, and the balcony was the perfect spot for us to unwind together after exploring the city.The location couldn’t be more ideal: right in the heart of Trastevere, surrounded by countless bars, cafes, and shops, yet still within easy walking distance of the historic center and all the main attractions. It’s lively and authentic, giving you a true taste of Roman life, but also peaceful enough to feel like a retreat at the end of the day.This was honestly one of the best places we’ve ever at. I couldn’t recommend it enough, and when we return to Rome, we’ll only stay here or at one of Giulio’s properties. It really is that special.

Wonderful location and host

The apartment was very nice and met all of our needs. Great AC which was very welcome for a July stay. The owner was very kind, knowledgeable and responsive. The balcony was not one that could be used and was to an interior courtyard but still very nice.

I actually rented the apartment for 4 days and 3 nights in June, 2012. I could not have been happier with the place. The owner was right there to greet us and it was amazing. Great location and good area. Cannot wait to return one day.

We loved our stay at Guilio’s apartment!! He is a great host. It is such a nice place and is quite a hidden gem in Trastevere. We loved walking to all the local restaurants and bars! We felt very safe and right at home. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Rome!

Lovely quiet apartment in a happening location

Upon arrival, Giulio was very responsive and quick to greet us. He carefully explained everything about the apartment and gave us some local tips about the area. The location of the apartment was incredible! Easily walkable to everything, and the neighbourhood is bustling with young people at trendy restaurants and events - even on a Monday and Tuesday! The apartment was very comfortable and well equiped for the few days we were in Rome. We had a wonderful stay!

Convenient flat for two.

The owner Giulio was very friendly & quick to respond. Entry was easy. The flat is good for two adults & well equipped. Trastevere is a very good area to stay. The only issue we had was that the ‘second toilet’ is not really available; the door is largely blocked by the washing machine & the very little room is full of brushes etc.

Absolutely authentic Travestere apartment

We loved our stay here. Our host , Giulio, was so helpful, kind and caring. He met us in the morning and took us into the apartment and showed us around. We loved the warm and cozy feeling inside. It was perfect for my husband and daughter and me. My daughter slept on the pull out bed in the family room and my husband and I had the bedroom. We all slept great! The beds were very comfortable. One of the greatest things about this apartment is Giulio and his attention to his guests. Another great thing is the location. So close to everything! We walked everywhere. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again! Thank you Giulio for a beautiful experience!

Cosy and great location

Giulio is a perfect host and provided all the information we needed. As other guests have said, the location is close to lots of restaurants, markets, bars and grocery stores. We were only there to visit the Vatican. It is an approximate 3km walk and as most of it is along the river, it's a pleasant journey. Two notes: as one other guest said, even though there are signs for no smoking it is obvious that there has been smoking in the apartment. Secondly for those from North America, some of our electrical adapters would not fit. Apparently, you need adapters with thinner posts. Overall we found the place cosy and comfortable and hope to return some day.

Fabulous location

We could not have asked for a better location! Trastevere is awesome! Great restaurants & very walkable to major attractions though we did take public transportation to the Vatican as it was a tad further north of the rental to walk comfortably on the stone streets. Our host Dr. Giulio Cao is very quick to respond & has good communication in English. He met us upon arrival & brought us into the apartment. He is a very charming man. Once we figured out our neighborhood, we were very comfortable walking around this very safe & happening area. We can’t wait to come back! 5 days was sufficient to see all the highlights but, there is so much more to see here! And many, many more delicious restaurants to eat at! Addio Roma. Ci vediamo presto! Ciao

We enjoyed our stay. Apartment has everything that you'll need for a comfortable stay. Supermarkets, restaurants, bus all within walking distance. Attractions are little farther out but can be reached easily by bus or walking Tram was not working during our stay. Not sure it works anymore.
