Wonderful Trip to Oak Island

The house was better in many ways verse our expectations. The house is modern and has many amenities. For instance great outdoor furniture, great screened patio area with TV. We also enjoyed the pool and the community which is less commercial than other areas along the coast.

We had a wonderful trip in this beautiful home fully stocked with kitchen supplies and games. Short drive to the beach. Great pool and outdoor area. Will return in the future.

Great house!

Great house and so well stocked! Very clean, decorated so cute- everything was great! Only negative is if you are going for a beach vacay- you will need to drive a bit to the beach. Highly recommend!

Poolside pelican

This house has everything you need for a week vacation with the family. Close to beach and downtown . Pool and back yard was the best. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Can’t say enough. 5 stars all the way.

We have come to Oak Island five out of the last six years. We have stayed ocean front, on the east end and the west end of the island. This was hands down our favorite house we have stayed in thus far. The house is beautiful, cozy, great location, quiet, serene, clean, and absolutely perfect. The backyard with the pool is awesome because the backyard is flat and spacious. We set up yard games and used the pool as much as we possibly could. The grill was clean and great for grilling out and eating dinner by the pool. Love the screened in porch and the fact that the house was dog friendly. My parents had one bedroom, my sister and her husband had another bedroom, my husband and I were in another bedroom and my 5 year old daughter was in the bedroom with bunk beds, and we didn’t feel crowded at all on this house. The dining room table was perfect for evening board games. We brought our own but the owners had plenty stocked in the house. I hope Poolside Pelican is in our future for next year’s trip!

Poolside pelican

Room with entrance to pool stayed hot even with changing filters. Internet very spotty the entire week. Nice house and location. Pool was nice for tween siblings when too hot for beach. Yard nice for our dog to play.

This house was in a lovely neighborhood convenient to restaurants and the beach. The house was impressively clean. The pool is beautiful and with an outside shower that even has warm water. The sand from a beach day was managed outside. It has an excellent washer and dryer. The house is ranch style with few steps which was so appreciated by young and old. The kitchen has awesome appliances and roomy as well as the rest of the house. We appreciate being able to bring our fur babies.Recommendations would be a few more medium size pots, we did not enjoy just using our apps for TV and if did not have a younger person with us would have no idea how to apply the app, use it, and remove it. Many times we like to watch local for news, tide times, and special events. The mattresses are not comfortable in all the rooms except the one by the kitchen. Overall we would rate this vacation rental a 5/5Thanks for the welcome supplies from the host.We would like to return to your rental again some day.
