I was only there two days was it was a delightful stay. Well equipped for cooking. Even extra throw blankets for a cozy little nap on the couch. Even though it is situated on a road it is very quiet and peaceful. Really perfect for a couple to get away from it all.
Only bad thing was that it’s on a long winding back road that’s hard to travel at night.

You must have came in on flat iron road, and turned on Baynesville, which is much longer. because from Rt 3 it’s only 2 miles from the house, thank you again for choosing our home!
Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a quiet, clean, and friendly place to stay. Host is very nice. The house had everything we needed and was just as described. Very close to Stratford Hall and Westmoreland State Park.

Cozy, quiet home just outside Montross. Pat was very responsive and the property had everything we needed for our stay. Conveniently located near Westmoreland State Park.
Perfect spot for our weekend away! Excellent location to hit multiple spots in the area. Clean, quiet and cozy, 10/10 would recommend. We are already planning our next trip!

Than you so much for the kind words on the review about the house, Greatly appreciated
It's a great place to stay. It close to town and the parks which is very convenient. We will differently be back to stay again. All the confronts of home.
This is my absolute favorite place to stay in Montross. It’s super peaceful, very well maintained inside and out. It’s off the beaten path but not too far. Restaurants and shops close by. So many amenities! Pat and Lester could not be any nicer or attentive.
I had a peaceful and wonderful stay for almost 2 months. The place is very well maintained and kept. Many amenities were included such as washer and dryer and dishwasher. Pat was very easy to communicate with and got back with me right away. I will definitely book a stay there again should I return to the area.
Very welcoming cottage, located nearby Stratford Hall, where I met with my grandniece that is doing her internship there, this summer.Close by is Colonial beach, where we watched the Fourth of July fireworks. The cottage was excellent. Every thing about it was perfect. Location, cleanliness, comfort, charm, Christian pictures to welcome weary travelers. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home.
Rather spontaneously decided to book a couple of nights during spring break, for me and my two kids. My eleven year old wanted to go fossil hunting, so that was the impetus for the trip. Pat’s VRBO was a perfect fit! Close to Fossil Beach. We didn’t end up finding any fossils or shark’s teeth, but we had a lovely time. The house seems new and clean. It’s convenient to a good grocery store and some quaint restaurants. Would definitely stay again!
