NOTE - our separate upstairs studio is currently occupied by a couple studying in graduate school; aside from the shared walkway leading to the staircase, guests will have exclusive access to the front and back patios as well as the garage!

We enjoyed our stay at the Balboa Harborside Retreat. Great location, comfortable furnishings and the kitchen had everything we needed. We didn’t realize the twin beds on the first floor were bunked, but it all worked out and our family had a great vacation. Thank you!

This house is clean, spacious and comfortable. The furnishings are so nice and all of the beds were comfortable. There are two outdoor areas to enjoy. It was also nice to use the bikes that were available. The house is just a quick walk to the ferry and also to the Main Street. The kitchen is fully stocked and there are amble towels to use. I would absolutely stay here again and I would recommend it to others.

The place was even better than the pictures! We absolutely loved the location and island setting — the walking path along the coast was beautiful, and we enjoyed exploring the Main Street with its cafés and little shops. Taking the bikes on the ferry to the beach was such a fun and unique experience. The house had everything we needed for a perfect beach day. Everything about our stay was beyond our expectations, and we look forward to come back!

What a beautiful house! My daughter and I stayed here for a couple of nights. We rode bikes, walked to get meals and shop, and walked on the boardwalk. We didn’t take the ferry, but it was close, had we wanted to. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again. from the minute we pulled up to the quaint neighborhood everything was so inviting, fresh and modern Walking distance to the boat docks, and shopping/restaurant district. We hope we can visit again soon!!!!
