About this property
Cozy Updated House near Downtown Asheville and Parkway - Monthly Rates Avail.
Constitution Cottage is the best of both worlds… A cozy, clean and comfortable vacation rental property tucked away in a quiet peaceful setting while centrally located within a 15 minute drive of Downtown Asheville.
This newer fully furnished 3 bedroom/2 ½ bath home can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. The kitchen was recently renovated for more of an open feel. The house is well equipped with superior bedding, bath towels, kitchen accessories (ie. pots, pans, silverware, plates etc.), blow dryer, iron, washer and dryer, high definition TVs in some of the bedrooms with access to cable, Netflix and DVD player. Some exceptional extras include fire pit with adirondack chairs and a relaxing back porch. If travelling with children, the house contains board games to keep them entertained. The luxurious primary bedroom with a King size bed and its own private bathroom is on the main level. Upstairs on the second level are the two additional bedrooms (one with a queen size bed and the other with two twin beds) which share a large bathroom and each have very spacious walk in closets.
The house has beautiful winter mountain views and sits on an acre of land. It is part of Riceville Forest, a quaint residential community located 7 minutes from Warren Wilson College and 10 minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, America’s favorite scenic byway. In the morning, you can take a stroll up Independence Way and become one with nature. You may even see a cow or two. When you are not discovering one of the many nearby hiking trails or waterfalls, there are plenty of other fun activities around town to keep you busy including white water rafting, biking and zip lining. You can explore the downtown area, the River Arts District, or spend a day at the Biltmore Estate. You can also enjoy a beer or two at one of the many breweries in the area. For your convenience, you will find a few maps and travel guides at the house. If you are not familiar with the area, I’ll be happy to suggest places to visit and must sees in addition to several potential itineraries. You can think of me as your own personal travel advisor for the Asheville area. Best of all, I live 5 minutes away and available to answer any questions or address any needs or wants.
Due to the tranquil retreat like setting of the home, having your own transportation is highly recommended for better access to all the great things Asheville has to offer. However, Uber services are also readily available in the area.
On a case by case basis, Pets will be considered only with prior approval and with a reasonable pet fee. Restrictions may apply.
Please be aware that I have a strict no smoking policy.
I look forward to having you as a guest at Constitution Cottage and making your stay easy, memorable and enjoyable.
