Great 2 weeks in Granite Point!

We had a fabulous stay and will definitely make the effort to come back again. The house was great for my family (+4) and a friend. Excellent location and essentially a beach to yourself. 5 stars!

The property was perfect. Could sit in the living room and look at the ocean. The only problem we had was that we couldn’t go to the beach because of the green head flies. Nothing that the owners had control of. Had a wonderful time

Perfect Location

I have spent many summers in southern Maine and this was one of my favorite trips. The location was perfect. The cottage is mere steps from a small private beach. We spent mornings enjoying sunrises and afternoons watching the seals sunbathe on the nearby rocks. There were a few things that needed cleaning and some spiders that needed dealing with but that is a small price to pay for the peace and tranquility that the location offers. Travel to almost any location on the southern coast is no more than an hour from the cottage. Almost every convenience from restaurants to grocery stores is no more than 20 minutes away. It truly is a wonderful place to be.

Thanks for the memories

This place is a dream and all that you hope a beach vacation could be. The secluded beach and beautiful sunsets gave us lifetime memories. We had 2 little boys born during covid whose first adventure was this amazing place. Their first words were on seeing the ocean and beach was "oooooooo". That just about says it all.

Amazing location

This house is situated directly on a quiet beach with beautiful views and the soothing sound of the waves. The location really can't be beat. There is easy access to Saco and Kennebunkport, but this property is away from the crowds of those popular destinations. The house is extremely clean and is well supplied with kitchen tools, beach chairs and even some beach towels (plus some coffee filters for that all-important first morning coffee!). There was easy and quick communication with the owners. All in all, a wonderful find - would love to go back someday!

The perfect family vacation

We spent a lovely week at Granite point. The place was just perfect for our needs. We were 5 adults and 2 kids (4 and 8 y.o.), they spent a lot of time playing on the very secure beach just in front of the house. The view is amazing, very relaxing, and we had everything we needed at the house. If you’re looking for some peaceful family time I really recommend it. Perfectly spotted close enough to Kennebunck and other ameties.

Really nice spot

Wonderful location on a great quiet beach. Communication was easy. The house was well-equipped and easy to stay in. There are not restaurants or big grocery stores close by but downtown Bidddford and Saco are 15 minutes away. I think that is a plus. The house was great but one bedroom is under ground with no windows. I’m glad we didn’t have anyone staying in that room. The house may be a bit tight with 8 people but worked great with 6. The beach and location are really special

Perfect location

Beautiful location on a private beach. Kids had fun boogie boarding, playing in tidal pools, and adults enjoyed the beautiful views. House was great for 2 families.

Coastal Getaway

This was a great rental, right on the beach. There were plenty of bedrooms and all amenities were provided (even beach chairs). The area was great for walking on the beach, swimming and biking. We had fun exploring the area (Biddeford, Saco, Kennebunkport). All were within a short drive. Leslie got back to us very quickly when we had a question. Overall I would highly recommend this rental.

Spectacular Beach House

We’ve stayed at several oceanfront/beachfront properties in southern Maine over the years, and this is our new favorite. The master bedroom with deck overlooking the water was phenomenal, and I have magnificent sunrise pictures to prove it. The beach was almost private, and the location was great.

Lovely home, with amazing beach views

We had a wonderful week at Granite Point. The house was well stocked with everything we could need; linens, beach chairs, and all the cooking supplies. We had plenty of room for our family of 5. The house location is great, so close to Kennebunkport and Biddeford. Portland is just a short drive away also. We enjoyed waking up every morning to the beautiful sunrise and beach views! We highly recommend this home!

Amazing oceanfront beach house

Thanks for a wonderful week at your lovely home. The spectacular views are unparalleled with both sandy and rocky beaches at the doorstep. We made great use of the porch from morning to night, capturing ocean breezes even during the height of the heatwave! We also enjoyed the marsh views, especially at sunset, and walking through the Rachel Carson Nature Preserve. The harbor seal was at his/her post on the rock at the North side of the cove whenever the tide was high - amazing nature everywhere we turned. Granite Point Road is a great location - easy to get to Kennebunkport, Portland, and many points on the Maine coast. The house was stocked with everything we needed - linens, dishes, and more. We hope to return soon.
