About this property

Romantic Cottage with Epic Lake Views

Our charming studio cottage is located at the end of a private 10-acre wooded peninsula overlooking majestic Lac St Pierre. There are 2 other cottages nearby and we manage them all (see our other listings).
The studio feels incredibly private once inside as it is located below the other cottages at the shore of the lake. A wooden staircase leads you down to the studio, which has its own outdoor space, including a BBQ area and a private covered swing right at the shoreline. Ability to navigate stairs safely is a must for this cottage.

Our large dock, floating raft and boating equipment are located a short walk away (not visible from the privacy of your cottage) and are shared by guests of our 3 cottages.

Beautiful cottage on the lake! We stayed for a few days with our dog and took in the nature. The room was cozy and outfitted with anything needed for our stay. The kayaks were an added bonus to keep us busy when the weather was nice, and we loved the swing on the water. A great place to unwind and enjoy the calm.

Clean, Cozy, Perfect for two!All the essentials can be found in the cabin, just bring your meals and personal items and you are good to go.The sightlines of the cottage are stunning - views of the water, and so private from the rest of the property.Loved it!

The property was pretty much as advertised and provided what we were looking for to get some rest and time away. It provided tidy accommodations, a very nice lake view, a well equipped kitchen and a fairly quiet environment. On the less interesting side, our arrival was delayed because the access code provided was incorrect, and then we faced an empty tank upon our first attempted at using the BBQ. We needed to contact our host on multiple occasions accordingly. Although we would recommend this property based on the enjoyment factor, attention and notice must be emphasized as the resulting costs above the advertised price is somewhat excessive. The various taxes with additional fees amounted to over 70% of the advertised price.

Cute cottage with great Lake view.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this one room cottage. There are great lake views. We had very nice access to the lake via a dock. We were able to use kayaks. The lake is very clean and nice to swim in.It was lovely! it’s on a compound with other cottages so not totally private. We enjoyed this because we got to meet the other folks staying there who were quite lovely and friendly. One downside was that the Wi-Fi and Internet did not work. There was also traffic noise from the road because it’s close to the road.

Ali: thanks for your kind words. Granite Shore Cottage is a lovely, romantic little place to spend some quality "together" time. We apologize for the lack of WiFi and internet access. We are addressing that with our Provider. Unfortunately, you may hear some traffic noise there. The road is several hundred metres away across the open waters of Lac St Pierre, The sound does carry across the water of the lake.

The cottage itself was very clean and a perfect size for 2 people. The downside is the grounds are shared with a few other cottages. There isn’t enough bandwidth for that many people of the wifi circuit. We also didn’t have our own outdoor fire pit. The dock was always full with the big group at the main cottage, so we were limited for outdoor activities on the grounds. There is a back porch but it’s shaded with trees and no dock. We loved our stay but it needs a few things to make it perfect.
