Enjoy the best of FL! Make our charming & relaxing home in historic Apopka the home base for your epic vacation. 30 min from Disney, Universal, I-Drive shopping, & WinterPark. Then enjoy Wekiva kayaking,hiking,&tubing 5min away. Beaches within an 1hr. Also, very close to HIGHLAND MANOR! Our home is perfect for wedding parties, family reunions, couples retreats, or just a gathering of friends. We love providing a warm space and plenty of room to relax& get away from daily stress and be together.

The Space:

Beautiful view of park/reserve formal living room and dining room with gourmet kitchen & large family room. Large master suite with luxurious bathroom and direct lanai access from the suite. Second king bedroom junior suite with adjacent private bath. 3rd bedroom full bed and 4&5th rooms perfect for kids and adults alike. Upstairs enjoy the billiards room with upstairs bath. Park and playground with grill steps away. All of central Florida is within 30 min and beaches about an hour. Go from antiquing in quaint old Florida Mt. Dora to the excitement of Daytona. From Disney to Universal Studios, to snorkeling in the pristine Wekiva Springs. It is all here.

I like to communicate with my guests and get to know a hit about them. My mission statement is "Arrive as guests leave as friends." Even though you have the home to yourselves I really want my guests to feel that I am always available to help them if they need it.

The Neighborhood

Our home backs up to a beautiful neighborhood park. Super quiet upscale neighborhood. Very near Florida's natural Wekiva Springs.

Getting Around

We are 30-45 min from the MCO Orlando airport and about the same distance from Sanford airport. We have a driveway and can accommodate 2 or 3 cars. One should have a car to fully enjoy central Florida but there is UBER and Lyft nearby.

If you are in our home Monday or Thursday please take out the black trash can for pickup. It goes on the street near the lamppost with wheels against the curb. Thank you.

Home is appropriate for family get togethers but not for loud parties. We have a great relationship with our neighbors and maintain a quiet environ.
No entry to owner lock out areas: these include Master closets, office off master bedroom, upstairs storage room and garage. NO cats I am allergic!!
Children must be attended in the park if under 12. There is absolutly no street or grass parking the HOA will tow the cars park in large driveway.

This is a beautiful home, so well stocked with everything you could possibly want/need. Three of the bedrooms are very private. It’s in a gated community and backs up to a lovely park with a playground. Very quiet. Don’t hesitate to book this property, it is lovely!

Absolutely gorgeous property. This was our first time renting through VRBO, and we could not have been happier. The rooms are all a great size, the neighborhood calm and relaxing and it was stocked with everything we needed and then some. Weekend Getaway for Board of Directors

Home was beautiful inside and out with everything we needed. One of our group did have a sensitivity to the detergent used on the bed linens and was unable to sleep the first night. We purchased fragrance free laundry soap and rewashed her sheets a couple of times then all was good. Otherwise a wonderful stay - thank you!!

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week staying in this home. It’s beautiful and roomy. It also has the most well equipped kitchen of any rental home we’ve ever stayed in and we’ve stayed in many! The owner was easy to communicate with, answering every question and welcoming us to her home. We’d definitely consider staying here again. PS if you plan a trip, try to set aside a couple hours to drive through the Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive. We saw so many species of beautiful birds and we stopped counting alligators after a dozen. Just beautiful!

Great neighborhood near Club Lake Wedding Venue

We stayed here for our son's wedding. It is a beautiful home in a safe, gated community. Only 10 minutes to Club Lake Wedding venue. The host was amazing and very responsive to any questions we had. We highly recommend this vacation rental.

A beautiful house in a lovely and convenient neighborhood!

We really enjoyed our stay and felt extremely welcome. By far, one of the best homes our group of nine has ever stayed in. The location was quiet, safe and close to everything we needed. Mt. Dora is around the corner, close to golf, and fairly close to Disney. There are several eating establishments and grocery stores nearby. The owners and family are great. All and all, a wonderful place.

Super clean, neat and very spacious home, we had everything we needed and more. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of utensils and glassware for a party of 10. We have been using VRBO for 17 years and we have never stayed in a house with a kitchen so well equipped. We congregated in the kitchen, family room, nook area of the house for the most part. The guys played pool, we enjoyed the large dining room with table big enough for the 9 of us. The way this house is designed was perfect, great space to send time together in with lots of privacy when sleeping and bathing. We could not have picked a better property for this cousins reunion!

Really Nice Home

This is a really nice home. Very inviting, clean and spacious. Perfect for blending different families on vacation. Everyone had their own space and the common areas were big enough for everyone to be together. The kids loved the bunk beds and pool table. The back patio was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon tea. Convenient to other beautiful parts of Apopka. Wedding venue was 10 minutes from the house. It had everything we could have needed. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the area.
