Please note this is not a two bed and a living room. Living room converted to a second bed room. Space is limited. Initially when we checked in, we were debating if we can stay here for a month. We had to buy basic necessasities to make the apartment livable. However later the land lady reimbursed for what we spent and we started to like our stay. Its pretty close to bart, restaurents around, and nice breezes in the evening, we enjoyed close proximity to Berkeley

I accepted the residence; decided to take a shower, discovered the cold water didn't work. Looked around , no towels or wash cloth, also no toilet paper. I couldn't get the microwave to work. Looked around the kitchen, no pots or pans, no plates or utensils; otherwise it was alright.

We don't provide toilet paper or kitchen ware because the price is $30/night, unlike expensive hotels at $300/night. Usually for the price difference, people buy their own supplies. This person paid money for beer, but wanted champagne for the same price. As for the shower, the handle needed to be pulled in the other direction, which the live-in manager could have demonstrated if asked. This was purely user error.

Do not rent — this property has serious issues.We booked this for a business trip and it turned into a major problem. The refrigerator was not working from day one, and despite reporting it immediately, the host did not replace or repair it for three days. Our employee lost groceries as a result, and the host never reimbursed us for that loss including the food stipend, we had to give to our employee. The microwave was also dirty when we arrived and wasn't replaced until a couple of days into the stay.Communication with the host was poor throughout, and issues were not resolved promptly. There was no parking available at the property, and the surrounding neighborhood was not safe — street sweeping happens during the late hours and we observed people sleeping on the street in the middle of the night when they moved the truck so there was no ticket issued.This was, without question, the worst stay we've experienced. We do not recommend this property and would caution others against booking here.

NOT Quite Cozy

When we arrived, our first encounter was with the live-in property manager. However, he doesn't speak any English just Russian. So, he had to call the owner, Nina, who immediately started talking to us in an negative manner on the phone. We quickly called Vrbo and resolved that issue. Next, we finally get into the apartment. The description and pics DO NOT properly reflect the apartment. I live in NYC and we are use to smaller and more dingy spaces like that. So, It's literally just a place to sleep. NTM, there NO towels, NO sheets, NO dishes and silverware; dirty mattress with cuts on them; the stove was dirty, outdated, and didn't work properly, etc. The worst part was that they working on the building and performing construction the entire time we stayed there. The construction matters and equipment were left out and scattered around the premise the entire time we were there. The entire time, each time, we walked out of the door there was some construction materials left right in front of the door.

I had very unfortunate experience with Breya: 5 people cane instead if 3, They came 6 hours before moving in time, Made the place dirty/ nasty, put all garbage they made even without the plastic bags outside the unit they stayed in, said everything was perfect during the stay- then made up false complaints about construction that never happened at Christmas . When VRBO asked to show any proof- of course there were none and their claim was denied. After they moved out, their friend came, braking into the unit at night, did a huge mass again, we had to call the police. I would never rent to them again
