Step into the oldest standing home in Los Alamos (built in 1882) and experience 140+ years of living history. This isn't manufactured charm—it's authentic character that breathes through every hand-carved beam, original stained glass window, and century-old redwood. Meticulously restored and professionally designed with super eco-lux details and true historic charm not found anywhere else in Los Alamos.
The Heritage House features 3 spacious king bedrooms, a Restoration Hardware queen sleeper sofa, plus an additional fold-out queen bed; 2 full baths with claw-foot soaking tubs, and 2 half baths. High-end appliances, high-speed WiFi, 2 Smart TVs, working gas fireplace, and thoughtfully curated spaces throughout create an unreplicatable experience.

THE EXPERIENCE
This is the real thing—hand-carved woodwork and 1880s craftsmanship that newer properties spend fortunes trying to replicate. Furnished with treasures, every detail creates photo-worthy moments and unforgettable memories.
Upon arrival, enjoy a beautiful welcome gift basket featuring local wine, manchego cheese and crackers, farm fresh eggs, snacks, and exclusive 2-for-1 wine tasting coupons created just for our beloved Heritage House guests.
Guest Access: Entire property, all indoor/outdoor spaces, and fully fenced yard.
PLEASE NOTE:
Guest count should not exceed reservation number
Additional guests beyond 4: $100/night/guest (50% discount for children under 2)
No outside visitors unless pre-approved and listed on reservation—vacation rentals must strictly comply with this policy
Dogs welcome for a flat fee of $200 per trip. Dogs must remain under guest control, not be left alone, be housebroken (guests responsible for cleanup—doggie bags provided), and stay off all furniture. Guests are liable for any damage. Note: Historic soft wood floors may be damaged by larger dogs running.
Events: The Heritage House is also an event venue (it's zoned for multi-use), and can accommodate up to 75 event guests for inimitable, intimate events. Event bookings are not available through this platform—search "Los Alamos Heritage House Events" for event information.
