About this property
Marsh View Cottage in Arrowsic is a perfect nature getaway w/ nearby amenities
This is a cozy rustic guest cottage with a view of the marsh and fall colors (and sunsets). Our main house is on the property, but privacy is assured.
It has a loft bedroom with a queen-sized bed and an adjacent full bath (shower, no tub). To reach the loft is a steep staircase (not a ladder).
Downstairs, the living-dining area has a dining table and a sitting area with a comfy daybed for reading and napping. The generous screened porch has lovely views of the tidal salt marsh, forest, and sunsets. Nature’s chorus forms the soundtrack—we have an array of non-human neighbors.
The kitchen has a refrigerator, oven, range, coffee maker, and microwave. It also has glassware, dishes, silverware, basic pots, pans, and cooking implements. No dishwasher. There is Broadband Wifi, AC window units upstairs & down (seasonal availability, summer only), and electric heat.
We are not far off the main road (Route 127), and you can hear occasional traffic if the windows are open, but it’s rare to hear cars or trucks at night. You are more likely to be awakened by owls or coyotes or perhaps the early morning calls of geese, crows, and other birds.
Just minutes from historic downtown Bath shops and restaurants, the Maine Maritime Museum, Maine’s First Ship, and the Saturday Farmer’s Market. It is a short drive to Reid State Park (beach walks) and a dozen nature trails. Walking distance to Sewall Pond (freshwater swimming).
It's under an hour from Portland or Rockland. Fifteen minutes to Brunswick and Bowdoin College. Twenty minutes to Reds Eats. And less than 3 hours from Acadia National Park.

We had such a great stay! The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The setting was peaceful and so close to the water — we loved starting our mornings with coffee on the porch and exploring the nearby Five Islands area. The hosts were friendly and easy to communicate with, which made everything simple and relaxing. It’s a perfect spot for soaking up the best of the Maine coast. We’d love to come back

We'll welcome you back when you come to Maine again.
Absolutely lovely. Mark welcomed us with kindness and all the information we needed. The home was clean and comfortable. The screened-in porch overlooking the marsh in the fall was beautiful. So many birds and wildlife. The town of bath is comparable to the famed Stars Hallow with all the charm and history one could need. Would recommend a stay in this lovely quiet spot.
This well-appointed cottage is perfect for a Maine get-away! Watch the sunset each evening on an idyllic screened porch - feel cozy and comfortable nestled within the beautiful property overlooking a marsh. The gracious hosts have provided everything possible to make the cottage feel like a home away from home. And Arrowsic is a great home-base for coastal and inland day trips. A fantastic cottage to relax and unplug in!
Lovely, comfortable cottage with great views! Perfectly located to enjoy the Georgetown area, Brunswick, Botanical Gardens and Boothbay, Reid State Park and so much more. Just a short drive to Harpswell for kayaking and Orrs Island. Truly a great find in the area! The hosts have thought of everything from toiletries to stocking the kitchen with essentials and welcoming gifts. I especially enjoyed the screened porch and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Overall, a wonderful visit and I look forward to returning. Thank you!
WOW! If you are looking for a peaceful get away this is the place for you. Mark was fantastic and went above and beyond for my stay. The property itself is stunning. The cabin was in pristine condition and even had some local goodies to enjoy. The screened in porch is a bonus room. While my stay was short, it was memorable. I highly recommend this vrbo between the price & overall experience it was fantastic. Thanks again Mark!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage over Memorial Day weekend! The location was perfect — peaceful and relaxing, yet close enough to everything we needed. The cottage itself was beautifully appointed and stocked with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. We especially loved spending quiet mornings and evenings reading on the lovely porches, enjoying the serene surroundings. The grounds were beautifully maintained and added to the overall sense of calm and escape.A special thank you to the hosts for allowing us a late checkout, which made our departure day so much smoother and more relaxed. We truly appreciated the thoughtful touches and hospitality throughout our stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a cozy and peaceful getaway!

Thanks for staying at our cottage and we appreciate your kind words and endorsement.
Spent two nights here on my own to extend a family trip. I was met by Mark who welcomed me and gave me a tour. The coziest space, beautiful gardens, a screened in porch with comfy places to sit and read. Upstairs, the bed is so comfortable with soft cotton sheets and a variety of pillows. There’s AC but I opted to open all the windows and let the fabulous breeze come through. Every space is fully stocked with anything you might need and more. Fridge even had some cold bevies! I just felt so at peace here and will absolutely be back!
the host was terrific and very attentive during the check-in process – and the rest of the time he provided us with complete privacy. There were many thoughtful touches included and stocked – soaps, first aid supplies, snacks and staples - he even recalled my asking about a grill and set that up for us! Location is perfect 20 minutes to the gorgeous beach of Read State Park, beautiful walk on old stage Road and overlooking a marsh with incredible bird life. thank you for a wonderful long weekend, we will be back!
