Our stay was very relaxing. Lots of games for the family to enjoy. The dock was amazing for fishing. Only a few hiccups, the stove needs to be replaced very slow took over an hour to bake biscuits, but hey we had the time to wait and relax no biggie. The screen porch was amazing we spent much of our time outdoors. I would book again for sure. Host was very responsive.

House was pretty old and had musty smell. The dishwasher did not work and there was no guest book with info about local restaurants or services. The sunrises each morning were beautiful and fishing was fun!

Hi Leo, thank you for your feedback.
we have replaced the dishwasher since your visit. I’m sorry it broke right before your stay.
For a stay of several days, attention to cooking—the kitchen and oven—could be improved in the future. Our overall experience was good, the place was quiet, and kayaking/ fishing was good entertainment. The best part was the easy and quick communication with the owner. Thank you very much for letting us use your house; we spent these holidays with family. Happy 2026
Perfect lake house home! Home included a pool table, record player, fire pit, and beautiful dock to fish. If you're looking for a relaxing weekend getaway look no farther! We would definitely stay here again!
We had an amazing time at the lake. The weather was a great change . They had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The back porch was where we spent most of our time. It was super comfortable. Would definitely recommend for a quiet vacation at the lake.
My fiance and I love to just get away sometimes and fish. When we say this listing we thought it would be perfect and IT WAS!This place had all the things available to you and the dock was great to fish off of and shaded for our dog to chill along with us.
wonderful everything you need for a holiday vacation and meal :) everything well stocked and the fishing was awesome We will return..PS stove works just fine..cooked a whole holiday meal with what was there
Beautiful house on a great part of the lake. There was great bird watching and wonderful weather as well.
The beds are comfortable and provided a great nights sleep.
I recommend for a nice getaway.
Great location and lake was lovely. House was not as nice as the photos- much dated furniture and decor but was fine for a guys trip. Dock was very nice but covered with cobwebs- would have been nice to have not hat to clean that. Terrible ant problem in kitchen! Enty door to kitchen was worn and dirty, needed painting- not good first impression.

Hi Richard,
thank you for the feedback.
i’m surprised to hear your thoughts on the furniture as we just replaced the sofa, chair and fire pit chairs.
we have since treated the home for the ants. it is an issue all the homes struggle with at the lake.
