The house was in a super quiet area of Teasdale just past the town of Torrey. Only 20 minutes to Capital Reef national park. The house was immaculate and quite cozy. Kitchen was well stocked and great laundry facilities. Beautiful views of the mountain behind the house. Great star gazing opportunities. The host Sheri was very responsive if you had any questions. Would definitely recommend.
We loved this house!! The beautiful house, built in 1904, was full of charm; updated with modern space and appliances, etc; and the location couldn't have been better!! Sheri, the host, was delightful and very accomodating.
This place is a little slice of heaven for our family. We spent Christmas here & it was the best home away from home. We enjoyed playing games & watching movies by the wood burning stove. Sheri is an amazing host & very responsive.
We enjoyed our stay very much! Sheri was so kind and helpful from start to finish. We felt like we were staying at a good friend’s home. It was perfect for our little family.
Came here for a wedding. The house was just lovely. Sunrise were beautiful make sure you see them. Would definitely recommend this house. Host was great thank again for all your help.
The home was a bit older but very tidy and in a quiet neighborhood. We were pleasantly surprised by the amazing views of the mountains that surrounded the property. Skies were also very dark which made stargazing awesome.
We really like staying here, it's a great location and plenty of room for our family. Kitchen has everything you need. The hostess is amazing and very responsive. We will be back for sure!
I would highly recommend this home. We stayed here because it was close to Capitol Reef National Park. The house had great views, a nice yard and was in a quiet spot. The house was extra clean, spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was great. Washer and dryer are available for use. There is a grill outside if you want to use it. There was also a table and chairs for outside dining with a great view. The hosts were available and live nearby, although we didn't have any issues that we needed help with during our stay. I have to say that this is one of the best VRBO homes we've stayed in!
The Perfect Gateway to Our Capitol Reef Adventures
We were greeted by a handwritten note and treats from Sheri, the owner. This warm welcoming was indicative of our entire stay. The home has everything one could need or want from the kitchen to bathroom to bedroom to the wood-burning stove for the unexpected snowstorm. The side deck was perfect for our sunny/warm happy hour. The BBQ worked! The views of the sunrise from the front porch were impressive. And one female guest worked it out with another male quest to walk through his room in the middle of the night to use the bathroom successfully! He sleeps through anything :) We all felt this was a great place to stay and look forward to returning when we come back to hike in and around Capitol Reef National Park.
Extremely comfortable, well appointed, and spacious modern cabin became our home for 7 nights. The cabin is about 15 minutes from the west entrance to Capitol Reef and has excellent proximity to restaurants and a local general store. We had a wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful stay. Our host was very kind and helpful. The house was in great condition and was a perfect place for us to stay. We especially enjoyed how close it was to a great short trail (Lion's Head) which you can find on AllTrails. We very much would recommend this property for staying near Capital Reef National Park.
Our 3 generational family loved this home. It's very well stocked for cooking, entertainment, and star gazing. The original old wood home is beautiful. The youngest in our group loved the wood burning stove. It's also a very short drive to Capitol Reef's entrance. We would definitely stay here again.
Great location, close to Torrey and Cap Reef NP, yet in quiet, scenic neighborhood of tiny Teasdale. Roomy, clean, well cared for house, a combination of older, western style and newer rooms, such as the kitchen and bedrooms. Well stocked. Lovely landscaping and large lot, although not much was blooming yet. A short way down the road is a nice trail for walking the dog, leading to some fun rock formations, before heading to the NP.
The place was great. Sheri was awesome. Relaxing area, stargazing, location near Capitol Reef and close enough to Bryce for a great day there. Enjoyed our visit completely. Place is as described. Spacious and clean.
Clean, comfortable, spacious and charming, wonderful kitchen, very private property with beautiful views. I loved my stay and visit to Capitol Reef National Park. Goblin Valley State Park is pretty close and amazing as well!
This is the second time we stayed at this property and we enjoyed our stay each time. Our hosts, Mike & Sheri, let us know that if we ever needed anything just let them know. Overall a great experience!
We loved the house. Very clean and had everything we needed. The outside areas for sitting was really beautiful and relaxing after a day of exploring “The Mighty Five”.
Thank you for sharing your home with us!
We absolutely loved our stay in Teasdale. The home was lovely and the setting was incredible. We enjoyed the views from the porch and cooking in the kitchen. This was the rare rental with a truly fully stocked kitchen-knives were sharp, there was a meat thermometer for the grill, and lots of storage containers for leftovers, etc. Beds were comfortable. I’d say this is the best rental we’ve stayed at! Highly recommend.
Very pleasant, well stocked and peaceful surroundings

About the host
Hosted by Sheri Clark
I was actually raised in this home. I moved to Arizona in the mid 1980's. That is where I met my husband Mike. We moved back to Utah in 1996 where we built a home and raised 2 girls. My family has owned and operated a lodge, local grocery store and bakery/deli for 49 years. We have been in the tourism business all of my life. The Teasdale area is beautiful with everything that an outdoor enthusiast would love to do. Some days the beauty of this area catches me off guard and reminds me of how lucky we are to call this area our home. We love to hear from visitors how amazing this area is.
Why they chose this property
Like I said earlier, this is the home I was raised in. I now own this, and felt it would be a great place for people to come and enjoy everything the Teasdale area offers. My favorite part of this home is the morning view from the front porch. The sunrise in Teasdale is amazing. When I was living in Phoenix and would come here on my vacation, I would wake up early, grab a cup of coffee and set on the porch and enjoy the sunrise. We would then plan what the day was going to be filled with. Whether it was a hike in Capitol Reef, or fishing on Boulder Mountain. There is always something to do here.
What makes this property unique
The front porch, watching the sun come up will inspire anyone. The view to the south from the deck is breath taking. Whether there is snow on Boulder Mountain or the fall leaves it is such a nice way to spend your time unwinding. In the evenings when it is chilly outside, lighting a fire in the fire place and relaxing from your day is always one of my favorite things to do.
