Upon checking into our VRBO - we realized it is a very unsafe area and the home felt unsafe. We immediately booked elsewhere. When I brought up the issues to the host he simply said thanks for your feedback. Please be wary when booking.

Response from VrboOwner on 14 April 2025
This guest left the property within minutes of arrival and later requested a refund, citing that she felt unsafe in the neighborhood and was uncomfortable with the locked closets, which are clearly designated for owner storage. We responded promptly and noted that we had lived in the home ourselves and did not share her perspective. The property has consistently received 5-star reviews on other platforms, with guests often complimenting both the home and its location. Unfortunately, she did not allow us the opportunity to address her concerns during her brief stay.
