About the host
Hosted by Giuliana
I am of Italian origin and am born and have grown up in Germany where I have done my studies and graduated in Business Management. I have worked as Project manager in Germany, Italy, France and Switzerland before settling down in the province of Palermo in 2008.
My mother tongues are German and Italian and I also speak English and French.
During your vacation I will be at your disposal, if requested, in order to provide information to allow you to visit the most beautiful places and spend a great time in Sicily.

Why they chose this property
I have bought this piece of land in 2006 and have commissioned the design and construction of the house from 2006 - 2008 in order to live in a quiet and undisturbed location by the sea. From all rooms you have a unique and wide view of the entire Gulf of Castellammare and the contrasting mountain and sea landscape of Sicily.
In the evening you can sit on the terrace, barbecue and enjoy the intense african colors of the sunset on the sea.
At the same time Romitello and Borgetto have a central and dominant position in the Gulf of Castellammare and adjoin the surrounding towns Monreale, Montelepre, Giardinello and Partinico. In a short time you reach the Monreale Cathedral or the house of the bandit Giuliano in Montelepre. You can visit the temple of Segesta and relax in the natural spas nearby. In the area you can eat excellently while enjoying a stunning panorama.
The two provinces of Trapani and Palermo, and the corresponding (main) cities and airports are nearby, as are the most beautiful beaches of the northwestern coast.
In May, hundreds of creditors on foot out of the cities to honor the Madonna di Romitello on her feast day and visit.
The mountain road to the Madonna of Romitello is a known destination for mountain bikers and paragliders.
Along the road to Madonna di Romitello there are several water sources, people from the provinces of Trapani and Palermo come specially to bring fresh spring water there.
The location is ideal for family holidays, beach holidays, relaxing, mountaineering and trekking (the sea, in the mountains and in caves), cycling and paragliding and sightseeing.
