Tastefully decorated, with an elevator ( out of order September 2025 ) to get up the third level above the ground floor in a very well maintained building dated in 1785, located in the 'Palais-Royal' itself.

- the 'Louvre - Palais Royal' metro station close by (3mn).

The studio consists of :
- a night area equipped with a very comfortable queen size electric Swissflex doble bed (2X80cm), fine coton linen provided,

Perfect stay at Palais-Royal

Our stay at Palais Royal was exceptional. The property is elegant, impeccably maintained, and full of charm. It strikes the perfect balance of comfort and sophistication. What truly set our experience apart were the hosts, Sophie and François. Their warmth, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail made us feel genuinely welcome. Everything We Hoped For and More

We absolutely loved our stay. The suite is just as lovely as the photos show. Sophie is a wonderful and gracious host. We can't say enough about our stay. The suite is literally walking distance from everything you could want to see, right in the heart of Paris. Can't wait to go back.

Wonderful one bedroom apartment!

It was mine and my husband’s first time in France, and this apartment was so lovely and in a great area! Sophie was very kind, and made sure we had everything we needed - including a baguette when we arrived! We would love to stay here again when we return to Paris, and highly recommend staying here to future travelers.

Beyond special and the most lovely location

Our hostess greeted us and helped set the stage for the most wonderful 5 days in Paris. After miles of walking sightseeing and visiting several museums, the neighborhood had a lot to offer in terms of cafes for breakfast, lunch or dinner and nightlife.

The apartment ideally located for a Paris-walking distance to museums and other sights.Wonderful restaurants and shopping nearby. Sophie is a gracious hostess. I really appreciated that she had croissants & bread, fruit waiting for us upon arrival.

Perfect locale to explore Paris

10/10 doesn’t seem enough to rate this property. It was very roomy great location close to public transport and Sophie was an exceptional host. She was helpful obliging and as we had a late flight out she held our bags for us - such a weight off our shoulders. If you are from Australia Sophie loves Madura lemon infused tea which she cant buy in Paris.

Highly Recommend!

This property was exactly as photographed and was really wonderful. By far, the most outstanding experience with any hosts we've ever had in any vacation apartment rental. The apartment furnishings are lovely and you have a sense of being an invited guests, rather than a customer. The location is excellent, the street is quiet, the bed was very comfortable. We cannot say enough; just book it for yourself!

A dream come true

If you are looking for the best place to stay in Paris, definitely this is the one. This gem is located in the heart of Paris, you can walk everywhere in within 40 min, and 6 min away from the metro station. It is so comfortable and it has plenty of space to make your stay even better. You have everything that you can ever need, a kitchen, a dining area, a comfortable shower, and fast internet service. The most special place.

Sophie has created a BEAUTIFUL SPACE that exceeded my expectations an experience staying in the heart of Paris. She has curated books, maps, info, etc. for all kinds of things to do, markets, museums, neighborhoods, general knowledge, useful info. The space is well equipped for making simple meals and coffee as well as reading or watching tv. The location was PERFECT. Less than 10min. walk to the LOUVRE. She also answered all my questions. I appreciated her desire to make my stay super comfy. I will be returning for sure. A total GEM! Merci Sophie!

Wow!

This property exceeded our expections. We highly recommend it! The location is exceptional, and it provided easy access for walking or taking the metro to all of our excursions. The apartment itself is a cozy home away from home - comfortable, very clean, and filled with everything we needed. We appreciated the many books on French art, Paris boutiques, chateaus, and more. Sophie was an exceptional host. She made the entire process smooth and was very welcoming. We will definitely return to this property if we get back to Paris!

Beautiful place to stay in a spectacular city - Paris

We had the most wonderful stay at this perfect apartment in a neighborhood that was central and gave us access to every unique and charming section of Paris. The apartment is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed to make our stay so comfortable. Our charming host greeted us and made sure we felt welcome and informed about the apartment and the neighborhood around us. The hosts had a very detailed book with recommendations on restaurants and many other Paris offerings. The apartment even had what we needed to make a few meals at home. Shops, restaurants and groceries were only a few steps away. The apartment was quiet and yet you knew there were bustling activities close by if you were so inclined to join in. Thank you so much to our hosts for making our trip to Paris such a lovely experience. We will cherish these memories forever.

Gem of a Find in the 1st Arrondissement

We cannot say enough about our stay in this cheerful perfect apartment. The hosts are kind and lovely people who live across the hall and are there for any questions or help with anything. The bed is extremely comfortable and the street is very quiet. (On Saturday night the bar across the street can be noisy, but not into the late hours) You are on the third floor with an elevator which makes it nice after a long day of walking! We felt like we were part of the neighborhood. The metro is very close by and can take you anywhere you wish to go. It was easy and efficient. The gardens of the Palais Royal are such a beautiful place to start your day with a walk. There is a lovely fountain, and we found out that many of the spots in the garden are part of the show Emily in Paris - if you happen to see this show. I would not hesitate to recommend this stay or the hosts again. Merci beaucoup to Francois and Sophie for their kindness and special arrival treats of croissants and fresh bread! A bientot!

Absolutely Lovely

I stayed for 4 nights in mid-December in Sophie and Antoine’s elegant studio apartment. Communication with Sophie was excellent. From the time she met me at the front door, Sophie was warm and charming, eager to show off not only their lovely studio apartment but her abundant knowledge of Paris. She took the time to thoroughly explain to me how everything works in the apartment and welcomed me with a loaf of fresh bread, butter, water, milk and fresh fruit which, after a long day of travel, is a very welcome sight. Although listed as a studio apartment, it is very spacious with a well-designed floor plan, each living area distinguished by carefully chosen tapestries, rugs, paintings, art books and exquisite antique furniture, all of which add to the warm ambience of the apartment. There is plenty of storage space in each corner of the apartment and if you choose to eat in, there are a multitude of utensils and cookware along with the fridge, microwave and cooktop. The adjustable bed is so very comfortable and the shower is roomy. The one thing I appreciated about the bathroom is that there is plenty of storage to stow your toiletries and I really enjoyed that radiant heater. The 3rd floor apartment with its elevator is very secure which as a solo female traveller, I truly appreciated. The flat itself has a double-front door and double-glazed windows making it a haven of peace after a busy day. Toiletries, plug adapters, slippers, travel guides, are all available for your use. There are 3 metro lines within easy reach of the flat and Palais Royal is directly behind the flat with its beautiful gardens and a place I was drawn back to each day for a stroll. The flat is ideally located in the 1st arrondissement in a neighbourhood between Opéra and Musée du Louvre. Thank you so much to Sophie and Francois for making my pre-Christmas séjour in Paris such a lovely experience.

A very enjoyable stay!

We adored this apartment, and our hosts, Sophie and Francois, were so friendly and welcoming, and genuinely cared about their guests. The apartment, as other reviewers have said, is beautifully decorated, and close to everything you need. We also found it to be very quiet. The little treats left for us were very much appreciated, and not having to go out straight away to buy basic supplies is a real plus when arriving in a new city. Sophie was very quick to respond to messages, very flexible with arrangements, and there is a wealth of information about Paris provided in the apartment. A very enjoyable stay!

Safe and wonderful stay in Paris

My husband and I spent 12 nights at Sophie and François' wonderful apartment from late April to early May.We were greeted by François because Sophie had to be away, and he was very welcoming and we arrived to a fruit basket and baguette. This location is set back from the tourist crowded areas, but also such a convenient 5-10 minute walk to the Louvre and Orsay museums. The palace courtyard is around the corner and is charming and we often walked through. We took the metro from two convenient stops and a bus around the corner. Once in for the night, the apartment felt safe, quiet and comfortable for the two of us. The elevator, after putting in so many steps, is a delightful, welcome, narrow fun ride every day! Just remember to push the outside door to get out.We were also lucky to meet Sophie at the end of our stay. She is also a beautiful person, like her husband.Thank you both for the wonderful stay!

Great location

We prefer to walk and we were close to most of the places we wanted to visit. For those who don’t want to walk, Paris Metro is awesome and there is a station less than 5 min away with 2 lines to take you anywhere you want to go.The studio was equipped with everything you need. Sophie was great and provided us with numerous recommendations. We will stay there again in the future.
