Beautiful cabin and location. Spacious and fit our family perfect. Really enjoyed large dining table for all to sit around for thanksgiving dinner. Beds were super comfortable. Hope to stay here again next year.

This property was the perfect spot to celebrate my wife’s birthday weekend with all of her friends! There was plenty of space for parking and plenty of space for everyone to do what they wanted to do!
I was with a group of 9 young adults. We were very pleased with the property. It was very clean and had great amentities. One thing that is not mentioned when booking is that you must provide your own trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. That was a bit of an inconvenience due to the location being around 20 minutes from a store. However, we managed! The hot tub being on the second floor was a little concerning but it did perfect! We had an incident where we needed maintenance and they arrived immediately and handled the situation quickly!! Overall the cabin was cozy, fit all of us well, and had everything we were hoping for. Just remember to bring your own toiletries. :)
The property was even better than the listing showed. Everything about the house was up to standards and is a great place if you are looking for a place in the smoky mountains. 10/10 would stay again.
If you want to stay in the mountains, this is a great place, just remember, you take mountain roads to get there and they can be a bit scary, if you're from a flatter state. The cabin has a lot of space for people (we had 8 adults staying, but there was room for more), nice appliances, and most of the descriptions were very accurate. The two things that I was a little disappointed about was 1. the view, I thought that we were going to have mountain views (maybe I had read that on a different property that I had looked at) and 2. It had a musty smell (maybe the cabin hadn't been used for a little while).
All in all I would recommend it!
The house was perfect for me and 11 friends. We had an amazing time. The house was only about 2 miles away from Ober ski resort which was great for quick transportation everyday. The house was perfect for game nights and big group dinners.
Never got support to fix various item in the cabin. Not the greatest roads to the cabin. Chairs did not match up with the video . But over all the cabin was very nice and and a lot of room.
Cabin was clean. Everything worked fine. Don’t use map provided by property management. Use your GPS. The map took us down town Gatlinburg. We got stuck in traffic for an hour. We used GPS the rest of or stay and every time it took us right to the property. Other than that the property was great.
Everything was very clean. Booking and checking in was made very easy.

Ok for a short getaway
The house was dated more so than the pictures appeared to be. It did our family getaway fine but not with any "luxury" the hot water for showers only seemed to be luke warm when showering regardless if you were the first shower of the day. The house I think could definitely use some upgrades new carpet, better stocked kitchen utensils, pans etc. We managed fine for our 4 night trip but would not book this house again. The rental company was very easy to deal with though and very pleasant. We did not put in any complaints as it was nothing that really could have been done during our stay but some upgrades through out the house would be a huge advantage.

Big place but very outdated
My family and I rented here for thanksgiving weekend. We are from Florida. We wanted to have the whole cabin feel holiday. Unfortunately, the Silver Maple Chalet is a wood panel house instead of a wood log cabin. The place is very outdated with a faulty stove burner, a door that continued to get stuck and you would have to push down on the knob (a knob you turn) in order to open it, the carpet on the stairs and second floor along with the couch were run down and very dirty. Yes, the place is very spacious but for the price they charge, it should be in mint condition.

Beautiful vacation house ❤️
This was an amazing house, especially for the price. We planned a really nice couples trip and the house served as the perfect destination for us. It was very clean and spacious. I gave four stars because not all of the power outlets worked and there was no cable in the bedrooms, only the livingroom. Other than that it was perfect for us. I would definitely recommend this cabin!

GREAT GET-AWAY!
Our Sunday School Class enjoyed this wonderful Chalet for a weekend. We had 11 single people with plenty of room for each to sleep and have a space to themselves. The couches are comfortable (low when you sit down), the table is big enough for everyone to get around (need another chair or 2 without having to take them from the porch), beds were comfortable (even had space for our air mattress for those of us who didn't want to sleep with another person) and the hot tub, pool table and porches were nice. The only draw back for us were there was not enough silverware to go around and use for the serving dishes when we cooked our 3 meals, there wasn't a cookie sheet (only the roasting pan and muffin pans), and only one knife we could find. Some upgrading in the kitchen utensils would be nice. It would be nice for the ice maker to be turned on before we come - it took a day for it to fill up (even though there are plenty of ice trays). There was plenty of glasses, bowls, plates for everyone and for serving too. We would love to come back again. Also when given the directions to the cabin it would be nice for the rental agency to tell you the number on the post (1210) at the driveway does NOT match the address of the cabin since there are two cabins that share the same driveway (and if you miss it you can't turn left into the driveway you have to turn around again and make the right turn into the driveway) - Not a problem if we had known the number on the driveway signpost. :) Thanks for sharing your home with us.
