Property was in an excellent location and just two miles from the airport. The pool facilities were very nice. Our host was very responsive to our questions. We did feel that the resort as a whole was dated and could use a renovation refresh. There were some buildings that were shut down and not habitable. This unit was a bit past its prime as well. While the place was clean, some of the furniture and finishes were dated. And, like many warm weather locations, there were palmetto bugs in the unit. We also noted a musty smell when we first arrived, but that dissipated as we spent time there and opened and closed doors.

We loved this place! It's super spacious, well equipped and the A/C worked great. Loved having access to the beautiful pools and walking by the beach at sunrise. Would happily stay here again.

Our experience at the Villas was excellent! The place was just perfect! We love the check in process, the area, location was perfect! The house was warm and comfortable! We love the recliner sofas! The cleanliness. The Kitchen and dinning were my favorite parts! It was also helpful to have spices and sugar with other stuffs needs for cooking! It was very easy and convenient to communicate with the property contact person. She was super nice, friendly, and courteous!

This villa was amazing! We were there for our daughter’s wedding and were able to have a cookout with both families. The proximity to the pools and beach was very convenient. All of the staff were friendly and amazing. If ever coming back to Kauai we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We did not have a beach view apartment. A lot of apartments with beach view were under renovation. We had to walk 5 mnts to the beach. The best part was the sunrise. Everyday we would walk to the beach to watch sunrise over the ocean

There are pros and cons to this stay. The price was worth it for our family to have the amount of space that we did with AC. The property is pretty vacant so there was no issue with parking and we almost always had the pool to ourselves. Also Crystal was so great at responding fast and assisting us as needed. We also enjoyed having the place to ourselves as it was quiet and felt safe.However the bathroom/towels had a musky smell that started to get overwhelming towards the end of our stay. The kitchen was well stocked but lacked Tupperware or foil to save any leftovers cooked. The place was adequately clean, but there were some areas that needed more attention. The beach access is nice but it’s not a beach you can sit on the sand at. Overall, if you’re open to overlooking these details it’s worth the stay.The main reason this stay was great was the use of the adjacent resorts pool. You do have to check in over there as an additional step but it was nice to have that access. Otherwise the stay would not be worth it in our opinion.

Easy Going Stay

My family and I absolutely love the location and quality of the condo. We were thrilled that it was on the ground floor, which made it super easy to access all the resort amenities. It was just a short walk to the pool and the other resort facilities. The condo had everything we needed, including towels, a small cooler, and beach chairs. I really appreciated the easy communication between the host and myself. We had no trouble getting in and out, and following instructions during check-in and checkout. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a great condo experience.

Great place to stay. Great location on the island, right in the middle east side. Two boys had to share the two beds. Perfect. We found beach chairs, but forgot to grab them. Easy to get in on bottom floor. Played with all the chickens and roosters. We didn't have time to use the pool area but it looked great. I would say if you go to Kauai, stay here for like 8 to 10 days to get it all in. Would have easily stayed for 3 more days. Especially here. Thank you!

We absolutely loved this condo, and were sad to leave for the second half of our trip. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, and location was central to everything we wanted to do. The AC kept it all so comfortable. Crystal was available for all our questions from beforehand to during our stay. We would definitely try to stay again in the future!

We enjoyed our stay overall, and the villa had nicely updated interior finishes. However, guests should know that while the villas are attached to the Outrigger Kauaʻi Beach Resort property, they are not part of the resort.Upon arrival, we had to contact the host by phone to understand how pool access worked. To use the pool, we were required to check into a separate hotel room arranged by the host, provide a credit card for incidentals, and essentially agree not to use the room to avoid cleaning charges. This was confusing and not clearly explained beforehand.The hotel was also undergoing a major lobby renovation, so check-in took place in a conference room. The pool area felt somewhat dated, the resort was fairly quiet, and dining options were limited.The most awkward part was pool access. Villa guests had separate towels while hotel guests received pool towels, and security frequently stopped us to ask if we were staying at the resort. Although we had wristbands and technically had a hotel room, it created an uncomfortable experience.The villa itself was comfortable, but the complex felt older and many nearby units appeared vacant. We enjoyed our time on Kauai, but clearer communication regarding the relationship between the villas and resort amenities would have made for a much smoother stay.
