Exactly What We NeededThis property was exactly what our family needed. It’s perfectly located close to everything, while still providing a peaceful escape from the crowds when you’re ready to relax.The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the property had everything we needed to prepare meals and feel right at home. My wife, daughters, and I truly wanted for nothing during our stay.Great location, comfortable accommodations, and a wonderful overall experience. 10/10 — we would absolutely stay here again!

Right in the heart of Cape Charles

Great place with tons of stuff around to do, eat and drink. Clean and well appointed with a new and old vibe. Loved it.

This property was absolutely lovely! It is beautifully decorated, pristinely clean, and had lots of thoughtful touches and amenities that made for an incredibly convenient and comfortable stay. It is perfectly located on the main street of Cape Charles and we (my two young sons: 8 & 10, my husband & I) biked the short distance to the beach very easily, as well as walked to all the shops and restaurants each day. The outdoor shower to rinse the sand off, as well as roof-top private patio, and the off-street parking were all definite perks! We enjoyed our stay so much & will absolutely book our next Cape Charles stay at 'The Portal'!
