We had a wonderful time.nice and quiet and centrally located. We like to do alot of driving and the property was 30 minutes from most things. The host was helpful when needed but not bothersome. I would stay there again.

The positives were that the house was very clean, it was close to the highway and to downtown San Diego and the airport. It was in a safe neighborhood. The hot tub was great! Also, The owner did get us a hairdryer delivered the same day when we found that one was missing. We appreciated that. However, the house is small which is probably typical for the area. We wish we could have used the pool but it was freezing! There was no heater and not even a solar cover. This made the pool unusable in our opinion. The house lacks some other comforts and amenities. Beds not very comfortable because there is no boxspring under the mattress. Coffee pot was small. Ice maker in frig is not hooked up to a water line. Fan in the one bathroom stopped working on day 3 of our stay. Also, we did not get our WiFi password or door code until check-in. For other vrbos we stayed in, we got the codes 48 hours in advance. We got the house for a good price and considering that California is so expensive, we were ok with the fact that it was not the best Vrbo we’ve stayed in. I think this place could be better with some additions and improvements.

Great spot in San Diego!

The house was as listed and communication with the owner was timely and accurate. All of my questions were answered in a timely manner, the location was great. Access to major highways was easy, local shopping was great. The only improvements I would say would be to add a few inexpensive items to the kitchen, such as better spatulas and cookie sheets. The second aspect would be to look at hot tub modernization. I could not get some of the jets to work and control panel was outdated. Otherwise, great vacation spot, we would highly recommend to anyone! We will look for this spot again next year!

Broken Hot Tub

The house is cute with some nice updates. But, our main interest was in the pool and hot tub features. So, it was very disappointing to find out last minute that the hot tub was not working. And, unfortunately it was way too cold to use the pool.However, the owner was very good at responding quickly to my questions & concerns! And, there’s a good mall near by.
