A delightful 2-bedroom 2-bath villa surrounded by lagoons and paved walkways winding through lush gardens. Enjoy the ocean breeze while you relax on one of your two private balconies or spend time with family and friends in the spacious villa. The master suite offers a private bathroom with granite counters, a walk-in shower, and a garden tub. The 2nd bedroom is outfitted with 2 queens. The queen bedroom's private bathroom also has granite counters and a tub/shower combination.

Villamare, located in Palmetto Dunes, is on one of the most beautiful stretches of the Atlantic Ocean and it's convenient to all the amenities Hilton Head offers. In addition to its fabulous location, Villamare also offers an on-site fitness center, an indoor heated pool, as well as a two gorgeous oceanfront pools. You can't go wrong with Villamare!

* FULL REPLACEMENT OF THE COURTYARD WALKWAY SYSTEM WITH NEW PAVERS. Inquire with any questions.
• Phase 1 (Spring 2026): Starting Monday, March 2, demolition of the walkways along Building 3 courtyard will begin. During this phase:
• Both grand staircases at Building 3 will be closed.
• Guests will be able to access the area using the Disney-side walkway of Building 3.
Beginning the following Monday, March 9, demolition will begin on the courtyard side of Building 1. During this phase:
• The Building 1 grand staircase will be closed.
• Guests will need to use the road-side walkway to access the beach and pool areas.
The project is scheduled for completion by April 1, pending weather conditions or any unforeseen delays. We will continue to provide updates should the timeline change.

The stay was good and comfortable. One thing about this apartment is that it is close to the elevator and you can hear it during the day in the bedroom but it was not a problem at night.

We really enjoyed our stay in Villamare. This unit had 2 good sized bedrooms and it was great having 2 full baths. The furniture was nice and comfortable. It was a great location, close to the pool and beach. There was a lot to do in this area of Hilton Head. We had bike and kayak rentals close by as well as great restaurants easy access to shopping and supermarkets. It was great having an outdoor heated pool and hot tub as well as indoor pool and exercise area. The only downsides were most of the pool lounge chairs at this resort were hard wood and were uncomfortable to sit in. Also the dishes and silverware in the cabinets were dirty with food on them so I had to rewash all before using. These were just minor issues, overall a great stay!

Perfect stay on the beach!

This property is clean and well kept. The condo was also clean and had all the necessities. We loved facing the beautiful property with the cute ponds with turtles! The beach is just a short walk through the property and past the pool. The pool is large and has plenty of lounge chairs. There’s a hot tub(they did allow under 12 in just an FYI) and a kiddie pool that’s just 1 foot deep. The main pool goes up to 4 feet. The condo had ample room for the 6 of us that stayed. I would only suggest the get some cookie sheets for cooking and update the outlets. The outlets are really loose. Thankfully not all of them were and there were some power strips. Overall we loved staying here and would definitely recommend and come again!

Great Location and Community!

This was my first time back on HHI in 25+ years. We enjoyed our stay in Palmetto Dunes. The location is great with lots of amenities. The pool and beach access were great. I loved the biking trails, and my son enjoyed the lagoon fishing. This is an older community, but very nice and quaint. Very family oriented. The unit is comfortable. There were a few minor things.…the water dispenser on the refrigerator did not work, and we couldn’t get the tv in the living area to stream anything. But that was all very minor. My only issue was the elevator noise. It was fairly loud from the master bedroom. Some nights it was in constant use until 12am or later, which was a little disruptive. If you have light sleepers, this might not be the best option. I appreciated that everything from check-in and check-out, to condo and community access, was digital. It made everything a breeze. I also appreciated the rental credit as we rented bikes and beach chairs for free. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return to Villamare.

Ok but will choose a different condo next time

We stayed during Thanksgiving week & have been visiting HH for 25+ years. Villamare is in a great location in Palmetto Dunes. Unfortunately, we woke to construction above our condo daily. We also had difficulty with no heat at night coming through the vents into the bedrooms. Other than that it was enjoyable. We will look for a different condo in that same complex next visit.

We absolutely loved this condo! The view was amazing and it was a short walk through a lovely garden area to get to the beach. Everything was clean and well stocked. The decor and furniture was lovely. You can tell many things were recently updated. The beach is amazing with tidal pools and mild waves with a shallow bottom. The pool was very clean. There is a really nice grilling area with a view of the beach and plenty of seating. The Whole Foods and Krogers grocery stores are just minutes away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to come back again soon.

Very clean spacious villa. Plenty of bath towels provided. Very clean furniture. Kitchen well stocked with kitchen necessities. Beautiful view with a peak of the ocean. Only one issue was the master bath sink clogged they came out to fix immediately however it clogged again. Other than that it was a wonderful villa for our stay at Villamare. Would Definitely stay there again!

Needs some Interior TLC

We have come to HHI since the ‘80’s and have come to experience and expect high quality accommodations. Sadly, this unit did not measure up. The view, as pictured, was as advertised, but that was really the best part of the unit. The bathrooms really need to be updated. The master bath shower door is not connected properly and is dangerous if you lean on it. We had to purchase Tilex because of the mold on the outside of the shower door, plus the exhaust fan topped working several times. In the other bath, the only towel bar in that bath fell off the wall when we simply tried to hang a washcloth on it the first night. No other places - except shower door - to hang towels. We also had to adjust the shower door to get it on its track. The coffee maker needs to be replaced - hopefully with one that’s sturdier. I realize you would not put top-of-the-line appliances in a rental unit, but this was just bad. It was dirty and we tried running vinegar through it to clean it out, it didn’t help, and we gave up on it partly through the week. The washer had standing water in it when we arrived that, from the smell, had obviously been there a while. The people at the management company were very responsive when called about it, but we should never have had to call in the first place. Villamare is a nice place to stay in Palmetto Dunes, but I have to tell you, with so many really well-maintained choices on Hilton Head, we will not think about coming back to this unit. 2015 Summer Vacation

This is our 10+ summer on Hilton Head Island and our first time out of a hotel into a condo! This condo was awesome. Easy access to the pool and beach. I would highly recommend this complex to families as activites in Palmetto Dunes, Shelter Cove, and Shelter Cove Community Park are all in close proximitry by walking or convenient shuttle. Walking on the beach to the Dunes House for Lunch is really fun. My only suggestion to reach an "excellant" would be to vacuum out sofa couch and underneath beds. Thanks for a great week!
