I had a wonderful stay at Jowene’s studio ADU. It is less than a mile and very walkable to downtown Austin where I attended a medical conference at one of the hotels. The place is very clean and modern with all the amenities you need for a comfortable and convenient stay. Host is very attentive and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you Jowene!

The space was very clean. Our unit appeared to be the smallest. For what we needed (primarily, a place to sleep) it was perfect. I am a bigger guy and I found some of the accommodations (like the shower) a bit difficult to use. My girlfriend joked about the shower "not being girl friendly" because the shower head rains straight down. I cannot recall when we booked if we knew this or not, and I would not let it detract you from booking this stay. The location is INCREDIBLE, right in the center of downtown. Austin, like many larger cities, does have a higher population of transient individuals. A block or two away, there was a large population of these people present because a local soup kitchen is located near. However, where the property is located felt extremely safe, and many locals had no issues walking around and going to the restaurants/stores/bars. Just some thing to keep in mind. The bed was comfortable, and the air remained cold, which is about all you can ask for in the Texas Heat. If you don't mind a slightly cramped experience (or if you really need the room for sleep) then this stay is perfect.

Excellent location; close to 6th street & downtown. Clean room; all appliances work. Bed is very soft if you need a firm mattress. Laundry room unavailable during visit. Very well lit main room; however, no night stand light for reading in bed. Excellent value for the money
There are 3 units on the property & the Laundry room is used for a storage area for the cleaning service.

Great Location, nice small house/cabin

Clean, well-furnished, but small cabin in back yard of a neighborhood in the shadow of downtown Austin. Perfect location. The only shortcoming is a sink that serves as a bathroom and kitchen sink.

Air conditioning system was not functioning properly. The smoke detector was not installed. There was no closet or place to hang clothes. I asked for compensation for these deficiencies but was told I had to take this matter with Vrbo.
