Daniel's Diamond Shined!

Our getaway was perfect! 4 college roommates, a spouse and a sister, and we had a wonderful time. The condo was as promised; the kitchen lacked nothing, the view from the deck is stunning and the room on the deck is plentiful. Close enough to anywhere we wanted to go, but off the main drag just a little so it was quiet. Thank you, we will rent again!

We enjoyed this condo very much. Have been coming to the Outer Banks since 1970 and this is one of the nicest condos or homes we have rented. Very clean and it had anything you could want in a vacation home. The kitchen had very nice dishes and pots and pans that were like new. Being end of rental season we were worried about condition of rental after being used all summer by various groups. Was so pleased and also fantastic ocean views. Thank you Village Realty for coming thru for us once again.

September 2017 Stay

We have rented from Village Realty 7 times and always was satisfied until this stay. We were extremely disappointed. The carpet is filthy! Had to wear flip flops or the bottoms of feet got dirty. Both faucets in master bath are corroded. Master shower had sand swept in corner and nothing to hold on to. Bathtub slow draining. Furniture was dirty in living room. Sand on fridge shelves. Also sand on comforter on master bed. The place needs total makeover!

The property is scheduled to undergo some updates prior to the 2018 season and we hope to have some new photographs to showcase in spring 2018. The cleaning issues you report here are the first I've heard as they were not mentioned in our conversation, so thank you for making us aware. We will address with teams internally in an effort to provide a better experience for everyone moving forward.

April 2017 Stay

The home was nice, but knowing in advance that we would be staying in a construction zone would have been helpful. The views were awesome and more than outweighed the inconvenience of staying in a construction zone. The home itself was lovely and the management company was prompt in response. I would like to stay again when the construction debris has been cleared.

September 2016 Stay

This was our third stay at Daniel's Diamond. The view is magnificent, the kitchen very well equipped, and the beds very comfortable. The oceanfront deck furniture is high quality and comfortable. Unfortunately, the living room furniture was so dirty we had to drape sheets over it. The master bathroom is original from the 80's and really needs to be remodeled. The AC unit seemed to be possessed and worked during the day but not at night. Compared to previous stays, the place seemed a little neglected and not as clean as in the past. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
