The house was very clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. The host Barb communicated well and couldn't ask for a better location.
Very nice location. Minutes from the wineries and minutes from downtown North East. Having the vines in the backyard adds to the wine weekend. Clean and quiet with a great sunroom. We will stay here again on our next trip to the area.BTW - Johnson Estates was our favorite.
The house, host, and the location of this home is incredible! Took my dad and son on a last minute getaway and this was the perfect host. Walk to the winery and private beach for sunsets. 5/5 stars, we will be back!!
The house and property were very well kept, clean, and more spacious than anticipated. Our host was accommodating and responded quickly to questions while respecting our privacy.Overall, the whole family thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the close proximity to the lake and nearby events. I highly recommend "Heard It Through The Grapevine" and look forward to another visit soon.
Heard it Through the Grapevine was exactly what we were hoping it would be! The convenient access to Lake Erie was great; and our dog looked forward to daily walks, so he could play ball on the shore. Plus we got to experience a breathtaking sunset!Mazza Vineyards lining the backyard added to the peacefulness and relaxation, and we took full advantage of the short walk to the Winery to sample some amazing wines! Our hosts were wonderful and accommodating. Visiting North East, PA was truly the perfect vacation we looked forward to all year. Thanks, Barb!
Super cute house! We loved sitting in the sunroom and on the patio for morning coffee and ending the night by the fire pit. The house has everything our family needed including games and entertainment for the kids. The yard feels so private and our girls enjoyed checking out the grapevines along the back. Sitting on the beach to catch the sunsets was definitely the highlight! The owners were super responsive and quick to answer any questions. Also left some suggestions of places to go that was helpful. Perfect place to stay and relax.
Very pretty home, peacful, had everything we needed for our stay even a highchair for my Great Granddaughter. Will book again. We were in area for a party and was convenient to everything even the Erie Zoo which we visited with the kids. Will book again.
Perfect location for us. House was larger than expected with many different areas to sit. Host was responsive and even had some snacks and cold bottles of water when we arrived. Each room had it's own AC unit which worked well for us. We will definitely stay again.

We look forward to hosting you and your family again!
We had two families stay and it was great. Each family had a full bathroom which is nice. Property was well maintained and clean. It does not have central air but the window air conditioners worked great so it was not an issue. Short walk to private beach access was priceless. Mazza winery is walkable too.

We are so happy that you had a great time. We hope you come back and visit us again!
Very spacious, comfortable home. Host thought of everything including tissues in every room, full soap dispensers and shampoo, conditioner & body wash. Tons of soft fluffy towels as well as beach towels. We loved the back yard with its large outdoor seating and great fire pit. The sunroom was our favorite spot. The neighborhood is quiet. A great walking road. Our only disappointment was the beach. Lots of rocks and not much sand. Definitely would choose to stay her again.

Joan and her family were great guests! They left the house just as they found it. We would love to host them again!
If you want to stay near Erie but also visit Lake Erie Wine Country, it doesn't get any better than this house. The vineyards are literally in the back yard, while Lake Erie is basically in your front yard! We saw the most beautiful sunsets by walking just a few minutes down the street to the beach access, and the vineyards in the back yard were the perfect backdrop for family photos. This house had plenty of room for our group of 7, and the back yard was very private, peaceful, and relaxing. Barb was an excellent host, the house was very clean, and the street was very quiet, with minimal traffic. The kids in our group loved playing in the large, flat back yard, and we all enjoyed having fires in the firepit in the evenings. Barb provides plenty of games for your use in the backyard. The croquet set was a big hit! Presque Isle is an easy 35 minute drive from the house, making it a simple commute to visit all of Erie's attractions. We can't wait to stay here again in the future.
The home was clean and neat. Met our needs completely, and the owner was very quick to respond to any questions that we had. Will definitely stay again!!
This house was an excellent choice for our family. The hosts made the entire process easy and enjoyable. We are looking forward to our return to this house.
