The photos are accurate with the property. It's a cozy place in a great location. The host has an easy system to check in and out and he was attentive to my questions. The appliances all work as expected and the kitchen is fully equiped. He has a QR code with instructions, internet setup, and suggestions about the island.

I enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing stay at the Hawaiian Getaway. The property was easy to find, spotless, well lit, and very comfortable. Check‑in and check‑out were incredibly simple, with clear instructions that made the entire process seamless. All cooking utensils, bath towels, and other essentials were neatly organized and ready to use. The property manager was friendly, professional, and exceptionally responsive throughout my stay. I also appreciated the strong sense of security on the property, which added to the overall peace of mind. The neighborhood was clean, quiet, and perfect for peaceful morning or evening walks. I highly recommend this rental for any individual or couple looking for a comfortable, convenient place to stay in Hilo.

I am super thankful for Jason and his team for allowing us to bring our big dogs to stay at their property. Most people scoff at the idea and I was worried we wouldn’t find a place to stay while our home was fumigated. Not only were they welcoming and gracious, the property was beautiful and the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. It’s a very nice space for two people and a couple of big babies. Thanks again for the great stay in Hilo!
