Located in Bedford, this delightful cottage offers 2 bedrooms - one with a queen bed and the other with a cozy futon double bed mattress with added cooling foam topper. The bathroom comes equipped with a hair dryer, soap, shampoo, conditioner, towels, makeup wipes, Tips, deodorant, floss, mini first aid kits, toothbrush and paste kits for your convenience, Enjoy amenities like fios 1gWiFi, washing machine and dryer, dog crates and blankets, brand new central heat and air, front and back decks with nice large 2 acre yard with fenced dog lot surrounded by hay fields during your stay. We hope you enjoy what our place and Bedford has to offer.
Smith Mountain Lake is just a 30 minute scenic route away. D-Day memorial is 11 minutes away. Walmart, food and gas is 5-8 minutes away. Peaks of Otter is 10 miles away! Liberty University is 19 minutes away!

Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please start a load of linens before leaving to expedite cleaning for us for the next guest. Detergent and softener is located in the basket labeled "laundry" in the bathroom for convenience.
Please remove trash and place in bin on back deck. For long term stays, please use the dump located 3 miles up the road near the bedford police station.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
DO NOT PARK IN THE GRASS OR DRIVE THROUGH THE GRASS. GRAVEL RD NEXT TO HOUSE IS PRIVATE SO YOU CAN LOAD/UNLOAD FROM ROAD TEMPORARILY.
Driveway has perimeter lights around it where you park, please dont run them over.
No more than 4 people to stay unless approved ahead of booking. This includes children. This is a small home with one bathroom.

I must say I am pretty disappointed in your 4 stars, as I made a leap of faith with you having no reviews. I was quick to your needs and helped guide you through the process. I allowed earlier check in than you paid for. You left my home rather unclean, followed none of the checkout rules and you burned incense in my house that I still can't get out. Very disappointed in this experience as there was no reason for anything but a five star review.

Quiet country setting

This place was perfect for our trip. Got up to see deer out the kitchen window. Was so quiet and peaceful. Will book again!

Loved our stay

The house was a great little find in a beautiful part of Virginia. We loved it, our dogs loved it, and the host made it extra special. Brittney was available with quick responses to all our questions and she made the house feel so welcoming with cute baskets full of snacks and games. We will definitely be back!

Barn Hunt weekend

My dog and I came down to Bedford for the weekend to participate in a Barn Hunt event. We enjoyed the house and it was close to town and to the event. We’ll be back!
