Very Welcoming

Very welcoming and lovely home to enjoy your Pocono stay. We are located in the Town close to all amenties. Located 5 to 10 minutes from all the activities and attractions the Poconos have to offer. Please note, there are security cameras located on the front porch, for host as well as guest benefits. River is located for viewing and experienced within two blocks of house location westward. DUE TO THE CURRENT COVID SITUATION CHECK IN HAS BEEN MOVED TO 4PM TO ACCOMMODATE ADDITIONAL CLEANING.

A two bedroom, one bathroom house with a Open Concept kitchen and comfortable living space. The house also comes with a 2 car driveway and a large backyard.

The property is located near a Walmart, Weis, and Giant supermarket. 5-10 min drive, you will be able to find restaurants, gas stations, an indoor water park (Camelback and Kalahari), zip lining, ATV bike riding, scavenger hunt, local movie theater, laundromat, Ride Aid pharmacy, outlet stores, ski resorts (Shawnee Mountain), Poconos raceway, Smithfield National Recreation Area and Beach, Arial Tours, horse racing, zoo, casinos, amusements parks, rail roads, factory tours, breweries, covered bridges, scenic overlook (Delaware water gap), lakes, Bushkill falls, and pinzgauer tours. It is also walking distant from a hospital (Lehigh Valley Hospital), and East Stroudsburg University. All these activities and amenities are within 5 to 10 minutes from location. A river is available for viewing and experience two blocks west of location of the listing.
Other things to note

Home has a nice spacious backyard with a flat deck and beautiful front porch. Please note their are SECURITY CAMERAS located on front porch of property for guest and host benefits.

Additional rules
-Please remove shoes while in the house.

-Absolutely No smoking. We have a strict no smoking policy inside of the house. If you would like to smoke, please smoke outside and discard of cigarette buds and ashes. If you are in violation of this, an additional fee of 300$ will be charged.

-Pets are not allowed (Service and Emotional support animals). While we love pets, we currently cannot accommodate pets. If you are in violation of this, an additional fee of $500 will be charged.

-Please respect our furnitures: DAMAGES to furniture will be paid for by the booking client. Additionally, anything removed from the property will be charged to client. FINE $500

-NO SOLICITING
-NO EVENTS/PARTIES

-NO FIREWORKS
-NO WEAPONS/GUNS are allowed on the property

-Please keep your noise level to a minimum after 10PM

GUESTS: Please review your reservation and have the CORRECT number of guests listed. The reservation can be altered BEFORE check-in. Only booked personnel are allowed in the property. The home can accommodate up to 6 guests. Any additional person after the first 2 guests, will pay an additional $50.00 per person per night. FAILURE to disclose additional guests will result in a penalty charge of $200 per night for the length of the reservation previously booked and/or cancellation of reservation.

Conveniently Located

This 2 bedroom is conveniently located near ESU and is comfortable. It was very nice to be able to cook meals, relax with a nice TV, and have good heat, A/C, and a hot shower. I would certainly rent this place again when I'm back for another visit.

Temperatures were in the low 30’s when we arrived early evening and there was no heat on. It took about 2 hours to warm up and there were still cold droughts from the 2 AC units in the window - especially where paper was stuffed at the AC sides in the main bedroom.The hot water for a shower/bath did not work it was mildly tepid, although there was hot water in the kitchen and bathroom taps. The owner said he’d have someone look at it but nothing was fixed.The table and counter surfaces were dirty enough to darken a cloth, along with some dead bugs, dust and grit on on windowsills and mantle. Some cooking pots were also dirty and there was black mold and food debris in the sink.This was overpriced for no hot wash water, a cold house, and a charge of 60 for cleaning for our 2 days when the place was dirty on arrival.

Bad Business

Did not get the code to the house the day of arrival as commonly done. Instead it says will get “on arrival”. That was 20 minutes waiting , and needing to go elsewhere for a bathroom before code was sent to get in. Home heat was slow to warm up, on cold, wet day. NO HOT WATER. Poor and slow communication from owner. With VRBO involved, still poor. Promised to get help, but no help came, after 3 phone calls and 6 hours. There was less than a roll of toilet paper for 4 people. Crusty bowl left next to sink. Both kitchen and bathroom sinks had yellow crusty pieces left in them. Kitchen cabinets dirty around sink area. Know your rights. No one deserves to be gaslighted.

Home was as pictured and location was quiet and people friendly near a University! We were there for an Anniversary Weekend. Convenient location for all your needs. We did a ATV t riding nearby at Pocono ATV Tours. The house looks better in person than in pictures. The neighbors were good neighbors. The house was clean but not thoroughly clean. Meaning there was spill stains not wiped off of white cabinets. Silverware with food still on them and crumbs inside the refrigerator. Nothing major but things that should be cleaned on a normal let alone for a VRBO rental. Place could use a deep cleaning. Another thing is the fishnet or drain should I call it is DISGUSTING!! Simple fix, just needs to be replaced. Other than that we would stay there again.

Lovely Stay

This place was exactly as advertised. Very cute little home with a clean environment. Smelled delicious too! Close by to the town center, but far enough that it was quite. Had a lovely stay. Only thing is if you are used to standard size towels, I'd suggest bringing your own. The ones provided get the job done, though. Overall I would 100% stay here again!

Dirty, Smelly and Extremely uncomfortable.

Upon arrival we expected a driveway for two vehicles, we could barely park one. We expected cameras on front porch but when we tried to retreat to the back yard for privacy we found the door locked and unable to be opened. Walking around we found cameras there as well! The house has a bad smell to it, and mold growing on the air conditioning units. There’s dust, cobwebs, carpets we not vacuumed and overall just dirty. Beds were uncomfortable, after the first night half the family left and the others slept on the couch. It was more comfortable. Last time I will stay here for sure!

Perfect place to relax after a day of skiing

We had a wonderful stay. The place had everything for a relaxing evening after a day of skiing. The electric fire place is amazing to warm up after a cold day. The place is actually way bigger and cozier than on pictures:) It has 2 bedroom and a sofa sleeper in the living room.
