When I travel back to this area, I will define try and stay here again. It was wonderful to have a place to relax. Lenny was amazing and very helpful! Highly recommend Blue Mountain Rest.
Our stay was amazing. We just needed a quick weekend away, spur of the moment, and Lenny (owner) went above and beyond to help us enjoy every second. Clean, spacious, and relaxing. Breakfast at Chef Darrell's Diner was top notch. Great hike, and tree frogs at night. So perfect. Thank you so much!
Nice little place. Quiet and clean, lots of activities in the area. Host was polite and accommodating, with tips on places to check out during the stay.
Cute cottage. Just what we needed. Lenny was very helpful.

Jeanine & Brooks were very adventurous. Hiking, kayaking and looking to visit Buttermilk falls. It was a brief stay but they made the most of it. Would be thrilled to have them back. Lenny & Boka
I enjoyed this so much! My cabin was clean, comfortable and cute, the proprietors were great communicators and they provided everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. I especially enjoyed sitting out by the fire pit watching the hummingbirds feast from their feeders and all the pretty flowers around the cabins, as well as the deer strolling about. Beautiful! The area is fantastic! Waterfalls, amazing views around every turn, and plenty of real hiking adventures. The Adirondacks Experience is excellent, you could easily spend a day there learning about the history and enjoying their excellent displays. Rent a boat from Blue Mountain Livery or take one of their historic boat tours, pack a picnic and get out and explore this beautiful area. Tip: Make sure you do a good provisions list, because a) if you miss something particular on your list, a real grocery store is about 1.5 hours away, and b) restaurants are few and far between, especially in the evening. Take advantage of the cabin's kitchen and cook at home. I will definitely return!
