We loved our stay, as it was in a great location to easily walk to the beach and even walk downtown. We had a nice morning walk along the riverwalk that lead to First Street Beach. I appreciated the small touches that made it feel very comfortable like make-up wipes, coffee, beach items, etc.

Perfect little Property and location

We stayed for 4th of July week. Comfortable, convenient to everything and a nice yard. We often enjoyed our morning coffee or an after dinner evening on the comfortable back porch chairs.

Our family of four enjoyed the convenient location of this Manistee home to the downtown area and 5th Avenue beach. The house was clean and mostly met the description with the owner noting that the bathroom was to receive a renovation this fall. The bathroom was functional, just an older shower and floor. A few things we noted that would have improved the stay included a dining room table for the four of us to eat at. The chairs in the living room were not as pictured and what was provided was very uncomfortable. We appreciated the laundry, air conditioning, beach chairs, quiet neighborhood, location and updated kitchen (just needed more silverware). Overall, some minor items that could make this property easily a 5-star rating.

In my notes on VRBO and Airbnb it states there is not a table for 4 and I allowed your dog at no additional charge so I changed my chairs to accommodate the no extra cleaning or pet fees.

Rachel's house was clean and perfect for the 4 of us. I was there with my husband along with our daughter-in-law and our 13 year old granddaughter. We found that for us eating at the island in the kitchen worked best for our meals. Rachel had chairs for sitting outside and a coffee table which we used for some of our evening meals. We usually took our car to the beautiful 5th avenue beach for afternoons. There were umbrellas along with beach towels for us to use. We enjoyed our stay very much!Ruthann
