This property met our needs perfectly. The house is big, the beds are comfortable, and the kitchen area is amazing. Although we did not use the pool, it is quite impressive in size, and it’s heated. Everything leading up to our stay went smoothly, as did the check out process. We had an enjoyable stay here.
This house was perfect for our family gathering. Plenty of space and beds for 9 adults and one child. The photos don’t do the kitchen justice and the rest of the house feels roomy and well cared for. Definitely a five-star stay!
This was a beautiful, spacious and private property. My large extended family stayed here for the weekend while we were in town to celebrate my daughter‘s college graduation. There was plenty of room to spread out. The property felt very rural and private, but it was also just minutes away from the university, shops and restaurants which made it very convenient. The kitchen was large and well stocked which made it easy for us to prepare meals.
This house and property are beautiful and was the right size for our family weekend gathering. Everything was clean and fresh on our arrival. The game room and sauna were a hit with the teens. Lovely spring stroll in the woods but too cold for the pool in April. The kitchen is a dream and has all the mod-cons. One small note is some of our group detected a bit of a sulfur smell in the water which may be due to well water(?)
House was as depicted in the pictures. Open kitchen and living room with large windows were the best part. Recently renovated modern first floor. Our group of 14 friends had a great time.
This house is absolutely awesome. The kitchen has everything you need except food. Just like the descriptions said. There is so much room. We were a family of 16 and never felt crowded.
This was the perfect house for the our extended family's visit to the area. There were multiple areas for people to hang out together and plenty of sleeping space. What a marvelous kitchen! It is large, brightly-lit, well-equipped and well-supplied. We enjoyed the fire pit and used it a couple of nights. A few of us were thrilled with the pool table. The library's large collection of children's books was a bit hit with the 3 year-old in our group. The entire house was super clean and neat when we arrived. There are lovely views from the house. The host was quick to respond to any messages we sent and was super accommodating. If we return to the area as a group, we hope to stay in this house again.
Perfect open floor plan with spacious grand kitchen for a mini family reunion. We took advantage of the high end appliances and cooked, played the baby grand Steinway, looked at old family photos and reminisced. Having 6 bedrooms, 4 baths and 2 half baths allowed us to spread out and we each had our own bed! The Vestal location allowed our relatives from Binghamton, Johnson City and Endicott to join in the fun during the day without having to travel far. The grounds are lovely, although the trail was overgrown, and the pool area is nice but difficult for an older group to access. We were a bit disappointed that some outdoor furniture wasn't placed where reflected in the photos, so we couldn't sit at the outdoor table to have our morning coffee. It didn't matter much, as it rained most of Saturday anyway which didn't detract from our get together. We're hoping to book again for next year and are confident the hosts will accommodate our needs as they did reach out to say they love to support guests in their celebrations when possible. One highlight of our weekend included spotting a black bear crossing the neighbor's lawn. Evenings were quiet and peaceful with beautiful sunsets. Overall, we give it a 10/10!
