The home was clean but does need some paint and maintenance. The front door does not feel secure but does lock. The living room TV did not connect to the internet despite following directions. The bedroom TVs did connect. The walls are extremely thin so you can hear people talking clearly in the unit beside you.On the flip side, the bedrooms/bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Directions from the host are clear. The location is excellent to many things in Franklin. Parking is good. The price is pretty high for this older duplex but a good location does help.
Wonderful accommodations and close to everything. I loved how clean and new everything was. Was comfortable and relaxed l. Got to see wild animals from the windows and enjoyed my coffee of the patio.
Very clear, quick communication. The location was perfect for what I needed. My only criticism is the quick flip this house and it's neighbors went through is obvious, using matte paint on the walls is a bad idea because it shows every scuff, tile work is messy, flooring dips in some places, things of that nature. But the heating worked for the cold nights and I felt safe, so I'm not unhappy with my stay here. I would stay again.
Overall a great stay. Clear and timely communication from the host, clean house, great location. It felt secluded while also being close to everything. The main downside to me was that the street coming off the house did not have a sidewalk on Franklin road, which is a very busy road. It’s got a very narrow shoulder of the road for about 20-30 yards which was not optimal for pushing my child in a stroller. The shoulder then gets wider for another 50 yards or so until you reach a sidewalk. “Shops nearby” doesn’t necessarily translate to a walk on a busy road with no sidewalk to me. Obviously the sidewalk is out of their control, but it could be better communicated to level set expectations.
